Is anyone selling a binocular microscope? Looking for a fairly high spec one as the ones selling on Amazon aren’t cutting it

Welcome to Quill!

Quill is a lovely adult female who was spotted playing chicken with the traffic in danderhall at lunchtime.

Luckily the cars stopped and she was scooped up & kept safe.

She is now warming up and will be monitored overnight to see what is causing her to come out during the day. She definitely has not had babies recently

UPDATE: Sadly Pippin passed away. He was very wobbly and this didn’t improve after hydration, heat and medication. He cuddled in and let me stroke his wee nose as he passed ❤️

Pippin is a gorgeous little boy who weighs only 450g. He was found out during the day and was very cold and dehydrated. He has spent this evening on a heat mat and has had some fluids. It’s early days but hopefully Pippin will be feeling better much soon.

UPDATE: it’s actually Prestonfield area! Any takers??

We had a lovely boy Cedar handed in to us after a suspected dog injury.

Happy to say the hedgehog had no external injuries and after a short time in rescue he is now ready to be released.

However the finder is unable to release him into her garden so I am looking for a release site in or around Piershill area in edinburgh.

Please let me know if you can help.

Desirable attributes;
1. Visiting hedgehogs
2. Hedgehog house/hotel
3. Feeding station
4. Ability to supplement feed for a week or so (or even better indefinitely)

This sweet little girl (IVY) was found out during the day in gorebridge. Luckily my day job is just the round the corner so she didn’t have far to commute 😀

At 388g she is underweight but is quite bright. Unfortunately her poo is also bright (green) so she will be starting treatment for internal parasites.

Early signs are good so hoping for a swift recovery then back to the wild!

Huckleberry is an adult male who was found lying on his side, out in the daytime. Luckily Lucy & her family contacted the rescue this evening and he was brought in for help.

Huckleberry has been checked over and whilst he has no visible injuries (he has two fingers missing but not new), he is very dehydrated, underweight and weak.

Please keep fingers crossed for him
