Willow's Wings Animal Sanctuary, Inc is a 501(c)(3) animal sanctuary and rescue, devoted to caring for all animals large and small, many of which have been abandoned, neglected, disabled. Willow's Wings farm is located in upstate New York atop 17 green acres. This sanctuary is not a facility or a large organization, it is solely looked after by Willow Sullivan and her devoted volunteers. This is a

home, first and foremost, to all the animals here. We work hard to make this place as close to a home-like environment, where animals feel safe and comfortable. Their well-being is our first priority. Here are 4 things, all the wonderful can do to help them!

Standing alone in this cruel world .Totally blinded by the severe infection that has taken over her eyes . Barely able to breath as the infection has spread thru her entire head . She can’t see , she can’t smell , starving as her frail body is being eaten alive by fleas. Her 1lb 2 oz body is struggling to breath , simply standing is exhausting. Curled in a ball she lays almost lifeless except for the sounds of a gentle purr…. Sadly there are thousands of kittens out there in this very same condition . Fern ( I named her) is one of the lucky ones. She was given a second chance and will survive. Fern is at the CAT DOCTOR receiving the much needed medical care to survive. Fern your a fighter , a survivor a innocent life once cast away now cherished and will forever be safe and loved ….

As the day heats up we try are best to keep all of the barn animals as comfortable as possible. Fresh cool water , fans on high and keeping things dark and free of the hot sun . The electric meter is doing laps 😭…..

Terrified they huddled in the pile of poles . Silent they didn’t move. They huddled together in fear . 5 little black faces all alone no mom to protect them. Defenseless they wouldn’t last very long on their own . fortunately, a kind compassionate human chose not to turn and walk away. There was no doubt that these kittens were dumped like trash when no regard that they either would’ve starved to death or become a meal for prey . Shelters are full…. it’s kitten season ….no one returned calls , other had to turn them down due to overcapacity. We are a special needs animal sanctuary catering to those that are unadoptable . New York State companion animals law 2025 does not allow us to house and manage animals that are up for adoption. The finder had extreme allergies to animals to holding them temporarily was not an option . We know they spent over 2 days with no food or water. Exhausted they are settled in here sound asleep bellies full and relaxed knowing they are safe . We have not had small kittens here in awhile. . We are in need of kitten food and kittens toys . They will need vaccines, worming and medical check ups . Please consider donating food , kitten toys or a donation towards their medical . We are hoping to find a rescue that can assist us in finding them homes . 5 tiny all black little souls are safe now no longer discarded and dumped like trash . Humans can be so cruel and heartless ….

Update on our special little lady . PepperAnne now know as Princess Anne underwent surgery to remove over 12 mammary masses ( think the number was actually 16) was spayed and even lost 6 teeth during this procedure. She was very sore , and very mad at me for several days but today is almost back to herself . Her senior bloodwork has some concerning results but now that her body is on the mend we will give her time to heal and then redo bloodwork. She is a fiesty little girl who loves her pink dragon and won’t hesitate to prove that she doesn’t allow any one to touch it !!!!! We are so relieved that her frail 3 lb 6oz body made it thru this …. 💕

Thank you for all the Birthday wishes !
A big thank you to all who donated to my birthday fundraiser and helped me meet my goal !!!!!!
This is a very expensive time of year for our sanctuary. We purchase this years hay. ( about 5000 bales ). our tractor trailer of shavings is brought in ( 1400 bales ) and we are redoing a 20 yr old horse fence that has detoriated over the year . Every single penny donated will go towards these expenses.
