The Cozy Paws Project is off to a good start! I thrifted all those new/like new blankets for just a few dollars & we’ve had some really cute coats arrive recently. Just a reminder if you have any pet sweaters, coats, Halloween costumes, or small blankets, now is the perfect time to donate them to Stella’s to find new homes that can use them! Please ensure they are clean & free of any strong smells before dropping in our donation bin. Thanks everyone!

Tuesday @ Stella’s!

Dog toys have been restocked, limit one please!! We still have lots of bowls, slow feeders and lick mats as well as some grooming supplies. For cats, we have two new types of toys and catnip is back!!!

Pumpkin Roll has tested and approved the newest arrival from the Amazon wishlist! Thank you Silvia for sending these feather wand toys and so much more. Thank you to several anonymous donors who dropped things off in our donation bin, too! Find them in the snack shack now, MEOW!

Two more snack shack friends have crossed the rainbow bridge & unknowingly were the ones to kick off donations to Stella’s “Cozy Paws Project”. Thank you Deuce, my neighbor dog, and to Timmy, my parents dog. These gentlemen lived happy, long lives with their very devoted families.

Deuce came to live next door in 2020 when his owner, my neighbor’s grandma, passed away.

Timmy, ironically enough, was supposed to be adopted by us & be Geno’s brother. He was posted on Craigslist for rehoming in 2012 when I was looking for a sibling for G. I sent a long & detailed reply but never heard back, so we rescued our sweet Stella!!!! Months later, the family finally replied that they got cold feet, but would now love to have us adopt him. I wasn’t ready for a 3rd dog at the time, so my parents welcomed him into their home where he was a perfect fit!

Run free boys, I know Stella was there to welcome you 🌈
