Not every training session involves a halter, saddle, or lead rope.
Sometimes it's just standing around and teaching a young horse that being around people is a good thing.
With Uno, I spend time rewarding curiosity, relaxation, and connection through scratches and rubs in the spots she enjoys most. Horses naturally groom each other this way, so it can be a powerful form of positive reinforcement and relationship building.
These quiet moments might not look like much, but they lay the foundation for trust, confidence, and a horse that genuinely wants to be with you.
