So grateful to Purrs & Beans NZ for taking in our girl Lola when she had to be surrendered back due to unfortunate circumstances, and finding her a new home ❤️❤️❤️

We are delighted to share that we have matched Lola to her (new) forever family and she leaves us in a week!

If you’ve been following her journey, you’ll know she came into our care late last year from Crazy Cat Lady Cat Rescue South Waikato where she was surrendered due to no fault of her own but just unfortunate, significant change in circumstances. We decided to take her in to give her a soft place to land 💗

She has adapted well to the cat café life but we always knew she needed to be back in a home as it’s what she’s used to so we are so excited she gets to do that again very soon 💝

This will be her last weekend so if you’d like to hang with her one more time and to wish her happy trails, book online meow!

Hello everyone
I have some sad news to share
One of our own has crossed the rainbow bridge, sweet boy Severus, who arrived weighing just 80g at 10 days old with his mum and brothers, NYE 2016.
He was given a low chance of survival, but he did more than survive, he thrived ❤️
He became instrumental in helping me tame some wild and shy cats and help them trust people.
His fave girls were Charli and mummy cat, then later Petunia and Lilah, such a ladies man 😆❤️
Other cats gravitated to him so easily, he had such a calm sweet nature.
He was such an easy foster fail in 2017, and brought so much joy to my life.
He was diagnosed with kidney disease last year, and it progressed quite quickly, but he was stable for most of that time.
Unfortunately he declined rapidly this week, resulting in having to say goodbye to him 💔
I'm so grateful to SWVS for their great care of him, and also to At the Vets for helping him pass with dignity and peace.
I'll miss my gummy boy, but I'm so grateful I was able to focus on him and shower him with so much love these last few months.
He was the sweetest boy ❤️
He is reunited with his best foster brother, Piglet, who passed at 5 months old of the same disease.

❤️Current flea and worm
❤️Desexed

She's been an inside only furbaby her entire lifetime and so she needs to be adopted into a furever home who will continue to keep her inside. So no accidentally open, window or doors. She just wouldn't know what to do out there.

She's not lived with a dog before. And we believe she would suit a family who will love just letting her lay around and keep them company. Still not a single enquiry for Moana 😿

Moana is still cautious, but growing more comfortable and curious every day.

Lately she has been joining her fosters on the bed at night and spending more time nearby, which feels like a huge sign of trust from her.

Moana would thrive in a quiet home with people who can give her the time and space she needs to flourish.

Another feline friend would be ideal, and if that friend is her sister Violet even better. They play and spend most of the day together, so they would make a wonderful pair for someone willing to open their home to both 🐾

Good morning everyone
A lot has happened over the last wee while since I last posted last
Billiam is in a wonderful foster home where he is flourishing (and practicing his skillful art of seat stealing)
Tilly got adopted, it's still early for her, and she's adapting, it will take time considering she had been with me her whole life ❤️
And the biggest news
I relocated to Christchurch!
What this means for the rescue:
Nothing as yet, I'm simply taking a very long overdue break, and focusing on my own health and my own animals, one of which has kidney disease and needs my time.
This is the first time in many many years that I haven't had extra cats or kittens in my home, so for now I'm just resting for the winter and enjoying my animals ❤️
I will try keep posting, sharing posts from other rescues who have kittens and cats needing homes so bear with me 🥰
