Crazy Cat Lady Cat Rescue South Waikato Just a Crazy cat lady rescuing cats. A local non -profit Cat rescue, based out of Putaruru.

Hoping to eventually lessen the amount of unwanted litters born and abandoned every year, and to find loving homes for those already in care. With over 15 years experience, ever step taken is to ensure the utmost care of our charges. If you need help with stray or wild kittens, do not hesitate to get in contact with us, for if we cannot help, we can most certainly refer you to someone who can.

Ideally I would have her placed before the 14th.
She would do well with non submissive cats, as she has a tendency to chase now, she gets on well with most other cats as long as they don't annoy her, but untested with dogs.
She has her dental booked for the 7th, so will be ready for a foster home (or forever home?) after that.
She is a bit of a neurotic mess but she has so much love to give, and will just need time to adjust and settle in ❤️

Life has been super busy so I've not had time to update the page, but I still have babies looking for homes!
Marshmallow Peep is one of these babies and she would love a home where she will be able to flourish given the time she needs to adjust, to be the best kitty companion she can be ❤️

As we wind down the last day of another year I'd like to say thank you for your support ❤️
It's been a quieter year than usual because of a boundary that I put in place for myself. I haven't taken any cats or kittens since the start of the year, mostly for my own sanity, but so I could focus on my family, and focus on the cats already in care, and my own now senior cats.
However there have been a few adoptions, 4 of the 5 bus stop babies found homes, and I'm pleased to announce that after nearly 4 years in care, Betty found her forever home with a lovely family on boxing day ❤️
And another long termer Fifi, found the most wonderful home with wonderful people earlier in the year, and I'm so thrilled for her after all she had been through.
Hopefully the remaining 4 adults are just as lucky in 2026.
And now I sign off, stay safe whatever you find yourself doing and I'll see you next year ❤️
