What an amazing walk to end a very busy week - we went to my favourite woodlands for a splash around to keep cool. Frank and Flo were having so much fun in the water that to my astonishment, Nala and Mogwai got a case of FOMO and decided to join in 😮, they’ve never even walked in so much as a puddle before. Four soggy, tired, happy dogs

Today felt HOT 🥵 and looking at the forecast for next week, it looks like it’s going to be hard work for the dogs. I’ll be cancelling walks and offering drop ins where necessary. Despite the warmth today, Nala and Mogwai stayed lovely and cool in their - cool enough to keep wrestling! I’ve tried a lot of cool coats and these ones are the best in my opinion - thin, flexible and great for zoomies, and make a massive difference to dogs’ temperatures

Everyone enjoyed cooling down in the water today. Except for my 2 dogs, who would rather stand there and pant 🤷‍♀️

A lovely review from Lyn, who I recently did some evening sits for whilst she was on holiday locally. Happy to look after your dogs if you’re visiting the area and want to enjoy a stress free doggy-free day or evening out at one of the amazing restaurants or attractions the area has to offer. Relax knowing your dog is having as much fun as you are 🥰

What a busy and soggy day! Firstly an early morning walk with newbie Bertie, who is only 9 months old but blew me away with how beautifully behaved he was. Then lunchtime labs, followed by oodles of doodles, including two more newbies Frank and Flo who happily settled into the pack with no drama. Lastly a gentle plod with dear Dotty. Also managed to squeeze in a bit of networking with another local walker, WALK MY DOG Somerset, who is super lovely and hopefully we can help each other out with passing each other work and covering holidays etc, it’s great to buddy up with other walkers with a similar ethos. Time to put my feet up 😴

Noodles and doodles today - the secure field at this morning with Noodles, who enjoyed zoomies with Nala. Though I prefer to be out and about, secure fields are a great option for dogs who are in the ‘flight risk’ category to have some safe freedom and fun. Then a lovely walk at Great Elm this afternoon with 4 doodles, with only Oreo prepared to get his paws wet

It’s been a zoomies in the bluebells, take your unicorn for a walk kind of day today. And why not? 🐕 🦄 🌺

It’s been a tough week - my dear old pony Wella had to be put to sleep at the age of 28, which has been really hard. But I’m grateful for the lovely dogs who have kept me company all week on some fantastic sunny walks ☀️

It’s got to that time of year where people say “oh how lucky, that must be wonderful” when you say you’re a dog walker. Yes, but lest we forget the gruesome endless winter, sliding around in the mud and the sideways rain 🤣, which ended not so very long ago. But yes, on days like today it really is the dream job. We had a great time exploring a brand new route at Stourhead, so lucky to have this amazing forest on our doorstep, just when you think you’ve seen it all it turns out it has more to give
