Angel has come so far under saddle. There was a full storm blowing outside and she remained calm as well as self regulated. That is a huge accomplishment for her. When we rode two days ago, she was bending and giving to me so nicely. She would start to want to go ahead of the pace I set and I was instantly able to bring her back. As we weaved a figure 8 around poles she started to match my excitement. For Angel that usually means speed or rearing. I felt her want to go up and was able to easily bend her and move her forward. Her progress has been amazing to watch but even more so to feel as her rider. I love every adventure.shea taken me on and can't wait to see what's on the horizon!

It's moved past one!!! Aspen starts with Angel's trainer next week for a refresher on how to not spook at everything including his own farts(not sure if he'll be able to undo that one 🤭) Like Aspen we all can use a good tune up. I am booking one on one Equine assisted Reiki sessions for July, if you also need a tune up send me a message and we'll get you on the books!

Below are pictures taken in a 36 hour window. Su is quickly building a bag! Her hind is soft, she's been stretching and is getting more restless than normal. Her hay and feed intake has decreased by half this last week and her poo is very wet this morning. She's comfortable on the lot after a night in her stall. As things progress I will keep the page updated as I can! We may have a new herd member to introduce very soon💜

A year ago today we brought home Aspen! He has been one of the greatest adventures I never planned to go on! He has stolen our hearts, pushed each of us to grow as leaders and began the expansion of our herd. I am so grateful to get to enjoy every aspect of him, even the stubborn ox side 🤭

Our sweet Brooklynn working on her steering, learning the pole pattern and getting to gally up ( gallop)on Miss Diamond. Watch until the end her little voice holds so much joy. Brooke Szentes has really been bringing her along in the saddle despite Brooklynn having the attention span of a flea 🤭

Three women, one whip, one pitch fork and one snake. I'm not sure why I'm always the first to charge into terrifying situations but it's good entertainment. Gotta keep the barn critters safe even if that means pushing through horrendous fear!
