I got Gravy when she was just a puppy.
This July, she turns 11.
For the last 10 years and 8 months, she’s quietly shaped almost every part of my life. In my 20s, my weekends used to revolve around parties and late nights. Then Gravy came along, and suddenly I was choosing outdoor cafés over clubs, planning trips around dog-friendly spots, searching for condos with patios, and finding joy in slower mornings and longer walks.
She’s been there through one of the biggest transition phases of my life — those years where you’re still figuring everything out. Career struggles, changing relationships, big dreams, disappointments, growth… all of it. She saw me at my highest highs and my most uncertain moments.
Somehow, while I was becoming a responsible adult, she became my constant.
She changed what “fun” looked like for me.
She changed what home felt like.
And honestly, growing up with her has been one of the best parts of my life. 🤍
