Please help us find Suzie a kind home. PLEASE HELP OUR TRIPOD, she has been through too much already. See details below....

Suzie really needs help,
her world has fallen to pieces, her puppies were all taken away from her as they found homes but Suzie sadly hasn’t.

For a few short weeks Suzies life changed from an abandoned struggling Mom in the township where she was hit by a car that broke her leg but still had to give birth to four puppies alone in terrible pain, she became the centre of attraction, she had her loving puppies, a warm home and a Mom of her own but now because her foster Mom couldn’t adopt her she is at a shelter in a cage where she sleeps alone at night and misses her puppies and the life she thought was hers and wonders what she did wrong.

Suzies foster Mom says that she is such a special dog, who was devoted to her puppies, loyal, gentle and kind, she is good with other dogs and humans of all ages and the loss of her leg doesnt cause her any problems.

Suzie doesn’t deserve to spend her life in a shelter please help her if you can and contact me urgently Suzie really needs a home of her own.

Please help and donate food to these dogs

Thank you Harry for your wonderful donation, we couldn’t continue to feed the dogs in the township without the help of you and others that donate food to us on a regular basis

Please if you can donate one bag of food a month it would help us so much and would take a lot of the stress out of our lives knowing that we can rely on donations to feed the dogs at our camp and the 50 dogs in the township that we feed every month, orders can be placed with Take a Lot who deliver to our door.

This is the latest update from her foster Mom:

Suzie. Poor suzie. She is the most affectionate little lady who LOVES being apart of a family. She is fantastic with kids and other dogs. She is kind, loving and playful. She’ll become a shadow to her human. She is very soft natured and is a calm dog. She copes just fine with 3legs, she’s incredible. She needs a home and a family who will just show her love and let her join in. She loves her food oh boy she loves her food. She smiles and is always up for a cuddle. Anyone would be lucky to have her.

Breeders can be so cruel.....

Recent research from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) revealed that French Bulldogs can no longer be considered a ‘typical dog’ from a health perspective.

"The study, led by the RVC’s VetCompass™ programme... revealed many of the differences in health between the two groups were closely associated with the extreme body shape that defines French Bulldogs. This includes a grossly shortened muzzle (flat-faced breed, brachycephalic), a large head, skin folds and shortened spine/tail.
..Narrowed nostrils (stenotic nares) was the disorder with highest risk in French Bulldogs, with the breed more than 42 times more likely to have the condition, helping explain the high frequency of breathing problems they experience.

Other conditions with the highest risk in French Bulldogs included Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (x 30.9), ear discharge (x 14.4), skin fold dermatitis (x 11.2) and difficulty giving birth (x 9.1)."
