⚠️ Injured by the Certified Professional Dog Trainer ⚠️
Training by the Breed and Not the Dog
Evaluation Day 🤗🐾 For Gus- The Cane Corso
I love evaluations🐾but this one , with the owners permission, I shall share his story.
My heart is hurting for what the humans do with the knowledge that they learn.
My heart breaks for the Owner that just wants help with their dog.🥹
😡My attitude, pretty pi**ed off. BY the Breed People that stereotype their breed. JUST STOP!!!
Dogs should NEVER be trained by "that breed " because they will become this bad dog!
That BREED is NOT your dog!!
Does that mean train by the book? NO
By the Breed? NO
It means by Your lifestyle,
Your needs,
Your time ,
Your personality
Your Dogs personality.
GUS is now a year old and needed a "refresher course" per her owner because he was not listening to the shock collar. Becoming agitated and playing hard with the other dogs.
His old trainer told her after her shock collar, a prong collar had to be used🤷🤦🤦🤦
Gus was sent to a professional dog trainer that convinced his owner that he needed to board and train at the young age of 4 months, because This breed needed special training.
The trainer trained for the military or something, had a great "I'm awesome" website with Certifications, clubs and
Brag, brag, brag the list goes on .
.Gus had to stay for a month at 4 months old
That age is bonding time with you
Had to use a shock collar because That bred would be bad
Would What???? Good lord , he would be A Dog
Gotta work him hard and make him listen
Young age
Young body
Open growth plates
Growing tendons and bonds
Gus was , at the time 4 months old. Why the hell would you use a shock collar on a four month old dog?
Proceeding with my evaluation and reading him , watching him , what a fun , warm hearted dog. Young and willing to learn. Walked nicely next to his owner, no pull.
Then I touched his hips and he cried 🥹🥹 didn't bite or growl just told me it hurt. The owner told me he had double Hip Dysplasia
Great breeder, cleared hips on both sides, so NOT genetic
So now here is my 😡The trainer injured your dog!!
One month board and train at a young age , body still developing. He uses shock collars just because . Do you think he would be easy on a growing body?? Me Hell no , he doesn't care.😡
➡️Below is the research and proof
The most crucial time to restrict and be sensible with the type of exercise you give your dog is very early on i.e. one month to six months of age.
During this age period, incorrect exercise can result in long-term damage to your pup’s hips.
When puppies exercise heavily, laxity between the femoral head and acetabulum is exacerbated and the joint is traumatized by the abnormal motion and impact of repeated subluxations and reductions.
Gus
His owner will do great training him and understanding any of his why's.
She can reach out to me anytime
He now has double Hip Dysplasia ,so now his life , training and help has to be a little different. Not because of that Breed But because of the damage done and the pain he lives with.
His attitude? The owner is blessed that Mr Gus is a tender hearted dog that despite what that piece ofsh*t trainer did to him , he still Loves people.
Video is the owner, training her own dogs after the evaluation. Approved use by her.
This story needs to be told!!
