Last Tuesday we had the honor of taking into our family,Officer Krijger, who was a member of the Norfolk Police Department K9 Unit. Officer Krijger who spent three years with the unit, was killed in the line of duty while protecting his partner who was trying to apprehend an armed suspect.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Office Krijger's partner, the Norfolk Police Department K9 Unit and all the other members of the Norfolk Police Department.
