Good Steward Farm The Good Steward Farm is a Goat farmstead located in Stafford, VA. We have Oberhasli, Alpines, Boers, and a mixed herd that works as a brush clearing team.

We sell raw goat milk for animal consumption, meat, and other goat based products.

Come see me at the Spotsylvania Farmers Market at Spotsylvania Courthouse Village tomorrow. Market hours are 2 - 6. There's plenty of room for kids to run around and burn off steam while you visit with and support local micro businesses bringing you locally raised and made food.

Market news!

🐐 Bottle baby update: still four of them, still consuming every extra drop of milk we get — which means raw goat milk for your pups and crafting is still on pause. The babies send their apologies. Just kidding, they do not. They are essentially adorable, fuzzy piranhas.

Catch me at the Spotsylvania Farmers Market twice this week — Wednesday and Sunday! Locations and hours below.

While you're there, visit 20ish wonderful vendors at both markets, offering grass-fed beef, baked goods, fresh produce, beautiful cut flowers, amazing bread, snacks and lemonade, specialty hot and iced coffee drinks, and locally roasted coffee from the amazing 2 Hens Roasters. Come see us! 🌿

Ethel is a super milker and a wonderful mother. This was the first birth I assisted with in such a manual manner. Baby A was trying to pop out at a weird angle and it just wasn't working. I am really glad that we're done kidding for the year but already making plans for 2027.

Our landscapers are on the move today and Thursday. The boy team is going to get a copper bolus and a hoof trim day. Micky, Falcor, and Stormy are being banded and our bottle babies are getting CDT shots. It's going to be a wonderful, beautiful, busy week.

The new freeze dryer is amazing. If you're looking into them, check out Blue Alpine Freeze Dryers. Customer Support has been stellar. I'll have bags of freeze dried Beef Bites made with beef from Woerner Farms in Spotsy at market on Wednesday and Sunday.
