🐾 Moncreiffe Hill adventures with Maya 🐾

We took advantage of a dry spell today and headed up Moncreiffe Hill for a lovely walk. Maya had a fantastic time exploring the trails, taking in all the sights and sniffing every interesting scent along the way! 🐶💛

The skies were looking a little threatening by the end, but luckily we made it back before the rain arrived! 🌧️😅

I think it’s safe to say Maya will be having a very relaxed evening after today’s adventure! 🐾❤️

🌧️🐾 A little rain never stopped us! 🐾🌧️

Today’s adventure with Lyla took us up beautiful Kinnoull Hill. The weather may have been a bit Scottish, but Lyla didn’t mind one bit! 🐶💛

Rain or shine, there’s always an adventure to be had and a tail to be wagged! 🐾

Lyla certainly enjoyed exploring the trails, sniffing every blade of grass and taking in all the sights (and smells!) along the way.

I think it’s safe to say Lyla will be having a well-earned snooze this afternoon! 😴❤️

🐾 Lyla Living her best life at Donna’s Doggy Retreat 🐾

While Mum is busy caring for others during her long nursing shifts, Lyla is enjoying her own little holiday! ❤️

From zoomies around the garden and playtime adventures to cuddles and plenty of attention, Lyla gets everything she needs to keep her happy, safe and entertained throughout the day.

Whether you’re heading to work, away for the weekend, or off on holiday, you can relax knowing your furry family member is being cared for like one of my own 🐶💕

🐾 Meet Maya 🐾

This gorgeous girl is Maya, a Beagle/Labrador cross rescue who turns 3 this month 🎉❤️

Maya’s mum would love to get away on holiday, but Maya has never been left for long periods before, so we’re taking things nice and slowly at her pace.

Over the next few weeks, Maya will be coming for afternoon visits to build her confidence, followed by some sleepovers when she’s ready. The aim is to make sure she feels happy, safe and comfortable every step of the way before her mum heads off on her holipops! ☀️🐶

At Donna’s Doggy Retreat, every dog is different, and I believe in letting them settle in their own time. Building trust and confidence is just as important as providing care.

We can’t wait to watch Maya grow in confidence and become part of the Doggy Retreat family 🐾💕

☀️🐾 Getting Summer Ready at Donna’s Doggy Retreat 🐾☀️

I’ve been busy stocking up and getting everything ready for my new furry friends this summer! 🐶💕

From cooling splash pools and paw washers to enrichment treats, fresh mats and plenty of poo bags, I’ve been making sure I have everything needed to keep your dogs happy, comfortable and entertained during their stay.

My aim is always to provide a safe, fun, home-from-home experience where every dog gets lots of love, attention and care 🏡🐾

I can’t wait to welcome more four-legged guests over the coming weeks!

🌿🐾 Sunday strolls with Lyla 🐾🌿

A beautiful walk through the bluebell woods today with this lovely girl 💜

One of the things I love most about dog boarding is getting to spend time outdoors exploring some of the wonderful walks we have around Perth. Whether it’s a woodland adventure, a gentle sniffari, or simply enjoying the fresh air, every dog gets plenty of exercise, attention and companionship.

Lyla certainly enjoyed herself today! 🐶

At Donna’s Doggy Retreat, my aim is to provide a genuine home-from-home experience where dogs can feel safe, relaxed and loved while their owners are away.

I think Lyla would agree that a Sunday spent among the bluebells isn’t a bad way to spend the day 💕🐾

🐾 Meet the cheeky chap Oscar, my first confirmed home boarder 🐾

Oscar, a lovely 9 year old Shih Tzu, popped by for his first visit before his 10 day holiday stay with Donna’s Doggy Retreat in July ☀️🐶

He absolutely loved exploring the garden, playing with the squeaky toys and getting familiar with where he’ll be staying while his family are away.

These initial visits are such a lovely way for dogs to settle in, feel comfortable and build confidence for him and his humans before longer stays 💕

Safe to say Oscar is going to have lots of fun and plenty of attention when he comes back for his holiday 🐾

🐾 Meet the gorgeous Lyla — my very first day boarder 🐾

Lyla joined me for her first day stay and settled in beautifully 💕

She’s full of fun and mischief and made herself right at home, getting all the attention, cuddles and care she needed throughout the day 🐶

Her dog mum is a busy nurse working long shifts, and I’m so happy to be able to offer a safe, calm and caring place where Lyla can relax, play and be looked after while she’s at work.

This is exactly what Donna’s Doggy Retreat is all about — giving dog parents peace of mind knowing their dogs are being cared for like family 🐾
