What an amazing day! 🤍🐴

Today marked the final day of our Advanced Camp and our 2026 HT Horsemanship Showcase! Family and friends came out to watch the girls perform their drill team routine and compete in our mini horse show. It was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible week of hard work, growth, and dedication.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients!

🏆 Grand Champion – Brylee Holybee & Red
🥈 Reserve Grand Champion – Ember Chuey & Leo
🥉 Third Overall – Abigail Torrice & Pumpkin
🌟 Most Improved – Tinsley McKendrick & Contessa
🤍 Horsewoman’s Heart – Jayci Martinez & Buttercup
🐎 All Around Cowgirl – Bellamy Mace & Tina
💪 True Grit Award – Izabel Vrbsky & Judge

To top it all off, we surprised each of the girls with their very own custom belt buckle! Every buckle was personalized with the rider’s name, their horse’s name, and jeweled in their favorite color. Seeing their reactions made all the planning worthwhile!

A huge thank you to all of the parents and family members who came out to support the girls today. We couldn’t do what we do without your encouragement and willingness to help.

Lastly, a very special thank you to our incredible sponsors for making these awards possible:

🤍 Virda Davis for sponsoring the trophies.
🤍 ET Plumbing for sponsoring all of the ribbons.
🤍 River City Heavy Haul for sponsoring the buckles.

I am beyond proud of every single one of these girls. Watching them grow, not only as riders but as young women has been such a blessing. My heart is so full, and I am incredibly thankful for this amazing group and the memories we made this week. ❤️

Our sweet Pepper passed away today. 🤍

Making the decision to lay your horse to rest is one of the hardest choices you’ll ever have to make. While my heart is broken, I know it was the kindest gift I could give her.

Pepper has been part of my life since I was 14 years old. I still remember the day my grandpa and I went to look at horses and somehow ended up coming home with both Pepper and Red.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve watched her grow, change, love, and touch the lives of so many people. She was a sassy girl with opinions about everything. Kids weren’t always her favorite, but she had a special place in her heart for pre-teens and teenagers. Once Pepper decided she liked you, you had a friend for life.

Pepper loved to smile, squeal, get sprayed with water on a hot day, and she absolutely loved her some Judge. 🤍

She had many careers throughout her life. She was a grandkid’s horse, a barrel horse, a ranch show horse, a rodeo queen’s horse, and eventually a lesson horse. No matter what job she had, she always left an impression on the people around her.

I’ll miss her smiles, her hugs, and the way she’d follow me around the pasture when I went for walks. Those simple moments meant more than she’ll ever know.

One of the things that brings me peace today is knowing Pepper was not alone. She spent her final moments surrounded by love from me, Faith, Grace, my mom, and Taylor. She was hugged, loved on, and reminded what a good girl she was until the very end. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. 🤍

Thank you, Pepper, for every lesson, every memory, every laugh, and every quiet moment. Thank you for growing up alongside me. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to love and care for you these past 12 years.

Run free, sweet girl. Give Pawpaw a hug for me. You are so deeply loved, and you always will be. 🤍🐴

What a wonderful week it has been. ❤️

As we wrap up our final open summer camp, our hearts are full of gratitude and a little bit of sadness.

Seven years ago, in the summer of 2019, I planned a small horse camp that was only meant to be a one-time event. I never imagined it would grow into what it became. What started as a fun idea quickly turned into a tradition that brought together so many wonderful families, campers, and horses over the years.

One of the greatest joys has been watching campers grow up. We have seen shy children become confident young leaders, beginners become talented riders, and campers who once needed help saddling their horses return years later ready to help the next generation. Seeing familiar faces come back summer after summer has meant more to us than we can ever put into words.

To every family who trusted us with your children, thank you. Thank you for the early mornings, the muddy boots, the laughter, the horse hair, the photos, the support, and the memories. Thank you for making camp something we looked forward to every single year.

While this is the end of an era, it is not goodbye. We will still be offering our open Fall Break and Christmas camps, and we look forward to seeing many of you there! Going forward, our summer camps will be reserved for our advanced lesson riders, allowing us to provide more in-depth training and opportunities for those students as they continue to grow in their horsemanship journey.

We are incredibly proud of what these camps became and so thankful for every camper, parent, volunteer, and horse who helped make them special. What began as a one-time idea in 2019 grew into seven years of friendships, confidence, horsemanship, and memories that we will cherish forever.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey.

With love and gratitude,
Hope, Faith & Grace 🐴❤️✨

58 photos later and somehow they still don’t capture how much fun we had! 💕🐴
