Sable is a sweet, playful little kitten looking for a forever home! She and her three siblings were rescued from a warehouse in New Brunswick, NJ, where a kind-hearted employee cared for them and their mom, Lottie, every single day. They became his little work buddies, climbing onto his shoulders and curling up in his lap for cuddles while he worked. ❤️

Knowing they deserved the safety and comfort of indoor homes, he reached out for help once the kittens were weaned—and now Sable is ready for the next chapter of her life.

Sable is incredibly friendly, confident, and affectionate, just like her mama! She loves chasing toys, wrestling with her sister Velvet, and spending time with her foster family. She's the kind of kitten who will quickly become your little shadow and brighten your home with her playful personality.

Rescue work is mostly rewarding, but there are situations like this one, that can really break us…

This is Pattycake. He was found rolled up in a ball sleeping in the middle of the day, defenseless and exposed, as if he was hoping a dear soul would see him, and offer him some help. Thankfully, Marina was the one that found him in front of her driveway in Union City a few days ago.

His gums were blue, and half of his jaw was missing. We’ll never know how long he suffered before he found us, and that’s a painful thing to carry. But we find solace in knowing that his last days were filled with peace: calm, quiet sleep, big meals, a full belly, and the comfort of being cared for. In the end, he knew kindness, and we are grateful that he didn’t have to face his final moments alone.

Sometimes love looks like knowing when the kindest gift you can give is a peaceful goodbye.

Pattycake’s story did not end with suffering, it ended with warmth, safety, gentle hands, and the certainty that he mattered.

R.I.P. Sweet, gentle PattyCake🕊️ We hope in the next lifetime, humans will do better and treat all animals with love & dignity.. 💔

The Fruit Kittens are ready to find their forever families!🍈🍑🍐

Meet Fig, Guava, Papaya, and Pomelo – four adorable siblings who were rescued outdoors with their mama when they were just tiny babies. Thanks to the love and care of their foster family, they've grown into happy, healthy, playful kittens who are ready to start their next adventure!

🍑 Papaya & Pomelo must be adopted together.
🍈 Fig & Guava must be adopted together.

These bonded littermates have spent every day together, learning, playing, cuddling, and building their confidence side by side. Keeping them in pairs gives them a built-in best friend for life and helps make the transition into a new home much easier.

🏡 They'll be ready to go home beginning August 3!

We're looking for adopters who can:
🐾 Pick up their kittens between August 1–5
🐾 Transport them to their included spay/neuter appointment on August 14 in Teaneck, NJ (drop-off 9:00–9:30 AM, pick-up around 3:00 PM)

Meet Raina! 💖 (Located in Hudson County, NJ)

When Raina first came into rescue, she wasn't sure if she could trust people. Human touch was unfamiliar, and she'd keep her distance. But in less than two months, this incredible girl has made amazing progress. She now happily accepts pets, chats with her foster, follows her people around, and has discovered just how wonderful love can be. 😸

She's a gentle soul with the sweetest little voice, a big love for food, and an even bigger heart. While she may hide for a day or two in a new home, a little patience is all she needs. Once she feels safe, you'll be rewarded with a calm, affectionate companion who simply enjoys being close to her humans.

After doing such a wonderful job raising her kittens, it's finally Raina's time to be someone's baby. Mama Raina has spent the last year taking care of everyone else. Now it's finally her turn. 💕

Meet Bagel! 🥯 (Located in Hudson County, NJ)

Every day, Bagel wakes up excited to greet his people. He'll meet you at the door like you've been gone for years, supervise every project (whether you asked for help or not), "assist" while you tie your shoes, and make sure no pile of laundry or rug goes untested for maximum flop-ability. 😍

His favorite place isn't on the highest cat tree or hidden under a bed—it's right next to his human.

Meet Plume! (Located in Hudson County NJ)

Plume needs a place to land. 💔🐾

Our sweet girl's foster is traveling starting this week, and unless we can find her a foster or, even better, her forever home, we're going to have to scramble to figure out where she can go. 😭

Plume is only 1.5 years old and is truly one of those cats who makes cat ownership easy. After being rescued from an abusive home where she gave birth to her kittens, she's left that difficult chapter behind and has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate companion.

She loves curling up beside her person, melts for chin and butt scratches, and has a loud, happy purr that lets you know just how content she is. She still has a playful side too—you'll often find her chasing wand toys or eagerly accepting Temptations treats. 😆

Plume is incredibly patient and relaxed. She can be picked up and cradled like a baby, making her a wonderful match for a first-time cat owner or a family looking for an easygoing companion. She previously lived with a male cat and, with proper introductions, should do well in a home with other feline friends.

Chickpea's story started with heartbreak. This sweet adult boy was abandoned outside in Union City, left to fend for himself despite clearly wanting nothing more than a family to love. Thankfully, he found his way to a kind colony feeder who knew he didn't belong on the streets and reached out to us for help. ✨

It's no surprise that Chickpea is a little shy at first—he's been through a lot. But beneath that cautious exterior is one of the most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. Once he knows he's safe, his true personality shines. His foster says he is incredibly sweet, loving, and so desperate for affection that he would crawl into your skin if he could. He'll happily soak up every pet, cuddle, and moment of attention you have to offer. 💖

Now safe in foster care, Chickpea is ready to leave he difficult past behind and find the forever home he has always deserved. All he's asking for is someone willing to give him a little patience, a lot of love, and the promise that he'll never be abandoned again. 😭
