After sending my remaining client horses back to their owners, I am officially closing my doors until further notice.
To be completely upfront, constant last-minute cancellations have become incredibly costly, and the unpredictability of scheduling has simply become too stressful to maintain. Especially when this is how I pay my bills. Despite my best efforts to accommodate everyone, it is time for me to reevaluate my schedule and protect my boundaries, and make sure I’m putting food on the table for my family.
I am moving into a steady 9-to-5 position. While I may make a rare exception in the future to help out a close friend, I am no longer taking on “outside horses.”
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my business and my horse adventures along the way—your support has meant the world to me. Right now, it is time for me to prioritize my family, focus on personal goals, and dedicate my energy to training and competing with my own.
