Our patient Kuma was presented with difficulty urinating and discomfort. Further diagnostic testing revealed a severe bacterial infection, impaired kidney values. Urinalysis also showed significant amounts of blood,bacteria, and presence of calcium oxalate crystals, while radiographs confirmed a severely distended urinary bladder.

Due to the severity of the condition, immediate urinary catheterization was performed to relieve the obstruction, restore urine flow, and help prevent further complications.

The patient is currently confined at our clinic for intensive treatment and close monitoring. We are hopeful for a positive recovery and possible discharge within the coming days.

Early recognition of urinary problems can be life-saving. If your pet is straining to urinate, producing little to no urine, or showing signs of discomfort, seek veterinary attention immediately.

🚨𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑷𝑻𝑶𝑺𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑬𝑻𝑺: 𝑨 𝑽𝑬𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑹𝒀 𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑹𝑮𝑬𝑵𝑪𝒀 🚨

𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒕𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒔 is a condition where the eyeball becomes displaced or protrudes out of the eye socket, most commonly caused by trauma or accidents. This is considered a true emergency and requires immediate veterinary attention.

🐶 Breeds with prominent eyes such as 𝑷𝒖𝒈𝒔, 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒉 𝑻𝒛𝒖𝒔, 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒅𝒐𝒈𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒆 are more prone to this condition due to their shallow eye sockets.

𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒔:

• Trauma or accidents
• Dog fights
• Falls or vehicular accidents
• Sudden pressure to the head or neck

𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑭𝒐𝒓:

⚠️ Eye protruding from the socket
⚠️ Redness and swelling
⚠️ Bleeding or discharge
⚠️ Inability to blink
⚠️ Pain and distress

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔

Delaying treatment may lead to:
❌ Permanent blindness
❌ Severe infection
❌ Irreversible damage to the eye
❌ Need for eye removal surgery (enucleation)

Treatment will depend on the severity of the injury. In some cases, the eye can still be repositioned and preserved. However, severely damaged or non-functional eyes may require surgical removal to relieve pain and prevent further complications.

📌 𝑰𝑴𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑻:
Do not attempt to push the eye back in yourself. Keep the eye moist with sterile saline or a clean damp cloth and bring your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic immediately.

Early intervention can make a significant difference in preserving your pet’s comfort and quality of life. 🩺🐾

Meet Wh**ey — a brave 3-month-old Puspin who came to our clinic unable to walk and feeling very weak. Radiographic examination revealed an abnormality involving the right hip and proximal femur, while blood tests also showed signs of an ongoing infection.

To help support healing and prevent further injury, Wh**ey underwent hip and hindlimb casting for 2 weeks along with strict cage rest. She was also started on antibiotics, pain medications, and anti-inflammatory treatment throughout her recovery.

During her stay, Wh**ey spent her days resting comfortably at the clinic and enjoying the company of our beloved clinic cat, Lottie, and her newborn kittens. 🐱💛

After 2 weeks, we were finally able to remove her cast — and today, Wh**ey went home walking on all four feet with a fantastic appetite and an even brighter spirit.

Every recovery, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating. ✨

Hazel is a sweet 2-month-old Shih-Tzu who came in for a routine check-up. Her f***lysis came back positive for coccidiosis — and she had no visible symptoms yet. This is exactly why routine f***l testing matters, especially for new and young puppies.

🔬 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒄𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒔?
Coccidiosis is an intestinal infection caused by single-celled parasites called Coccidia. It spreads through contaminated f***s, soil, or environments. Puppies under 6 months are especially vulnerable due to their immature immune systems.

• Watery or bloody diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Lethargy and weakness

Young puppies can deteriorate rapidly. Left untreated, severe coccidiosis can lead to life-threatening dehydration — especially in dogs under 3 months old.
Many puppies from pet shops, shelters, or new homes are exposed before their first vet visit. A routine f***lysis is one of the most important tests you can do for a newly acquired puppy.

✅ 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝑫𝒐
• Schedule a f***lysis for all newly acquired puppies, even if they appear healthy
• Keep living areas clean and disinfected regularly
• Prevent puppies from sniffing or eating f***s outdoors
• Deworm and do routine f***l checks every 3–6 months
• Isolate infected pets to prevent spread to other animals
• See your vet promptly if diarrhea lasts more than 24 hours
