✨ Pricing Update – January 2027 ✨

I wanted to give everyone plenty of notice that from January 2027, I’ll be introducing a new pricing structure.

With my diary remaining consistently full and availability limited, I’ve taken the opportunity to review my pricing to ensure it reflects the time, care, expertise and one-to-one service involved in each individual groom.

My current prices have been in place since January 2025, and during this time I haven’t applied annual cost-of-living increases. Over the years, I’ve continued to grow my experience, develop my skills and invest in the service I provide. With 6 years of professional grooming experience and 9 years working in animal care, this review allows my pricing to better reflect the knowledge, skill and care that goes into every appointment.

This is not simply an annual price increase, but a restructure to create a fairer and more consistent system. Pricing will take into account each dog’s individual requirements, including breed, size, coat type, coat condition, grooming style, frequency of grooming routine and the time required for each appointment.

Some dogs may see a larger adjustment than others, while some may see very little change. A full pricing guide will be shared before the changes come into effect.

To avoid the need for larger pricing restructures in the future, from 2028 annual cost-of-living reviews will take place at the start of each tax year. This will allow my pricing to remain sustainable while continuing to provide the level of care, time and service my clients and their dogs deserve.

A huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your continued support and loyalty. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust you place in me with your dogs, and I’m so proud to continue providing the calm, personalised one-to-one care they deserve. 🐾

Shauna 😊

📅 Booking Update & Important Client Information 📅

My diary is now fully booked for July, August, September, October and December, with limited availability remaining in November.

As a one-to-one groomer, my diary is naturally limited. I only book the number of appointments I know I can complete while maintaining the care, time and attention every dog deserves.

Because of this, once my diary is full, I’m unable to squeeze in extra appointments or accommodate last-minute bookings.

If you haven’t already secured your upcoming appointments, this is your reminder to get them booked before the remaining spaces are gone. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

✨ Cancellation List ✨

If you can’t find a suitable appointment, you’re welcome to request to join my cancellation list.
Please note that joining the list does not guarantee an appointment. Any spaces that become available will be offered on a first come, first served basis, but only where the appointment is suitable for your dog’s grooming requirements and the time needed to complete their groom properly.

You’re welcome to request specific months, and I’ll contact you if a suitable space becomes available.

✨ A reminder about future bookings ✨

I always recommend booking your dog’s appointments in advance, and many of my clients choose to secure their appointments for the year ahead which is greatly appreciated!

When I open my diary for the following year (usually around November/December), I’ll be in touch with clients who like to plan ahead so we can arrange their appointments.
If you don’t usually pre-book but would like to secure your dog’s appointments in advance, please keep an eye out for my post later in the year when my 2027 diary opens.

For clients who don’t pre-book, please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure your dog’s future appointments are booked. While I’m always happy to help with scheduling when requested, I’m not able to monitor every dog’s grooming schedule or contact individual clients when appointments are due.

I’ll always do my best to accommodate where I can, but with my diary often booking months in advance, I cannot guarantee availability for appointments that haven’t already been arranged.

I regularly share updates regarding availability and cancellations on this page, so please keep an eye on my posts if you’re looking to book in.

Thank you all so much for your continued support 🐾

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder – Please Keep Your Dogs Safe ☀️

With temperatures reaching 28°C today, I wanted to share an important reminder about keeping our dogs safe during this heat.

As many of you know, all afternoon grooming appointments for today have been rescheduled, as were those over the last couple of days. With my background in veterinary care, I know how serious the effects of heat can be for our dogs. As a one-to-one groomer and, above all, an animal lover, the welfare of every dog in my care will always come before anything else.

Please remember:

🐾 Keep dogs indoors during the hottest parts of the day
🐾 Only take them out for brief toilet breaks when necessary
🐾 Ensure they have constant access to fresh, cool water
🐾 Provide a cool, shaded environment to rest in
🐾 Never ignore even minor signs of heatstroke

Signs of heatstroke can include excessive panting, drooling, restlessness, lethargy, vomiting, wobbliness, or collapse. Heatstroke can develop very quickly and can be life-threatening, so please don’t dismiss early symptoms.

I know rescheduling appointments can be inconvenient, and I genuinely appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility. These decisions are always made with your pets’ safety and wellbeing in mind.

Thank you for helping me put the welfare of your dogs first. ❤️

Please take a moment to read the heatstroke information below and stay safe in the sunshine 🐾

Important Reminder Regarding Appointment Times 🐾

I would like to remind all clients of my appointment time policy and why it is so important for my business.

As many of you know, I am a home-based, one-to-one dog groomer. I schedule my day carefully so that each dog receives my full attention in a calm environment, without having to share the space with other dogs.

While I understand that delays can occasionally happen, I have recently been experiencing an increasing number of late drop-offs and late collections, and this is having a significant impact on my ability to run appointments smoothly.

Prompt collection is particularly important. I always provide plenty of notice when your dog is nearing completion or ready to go home. When dogs are not collected on time, it can result in overlap with my next appointment, meaning I am left trying to manage multiple dogs at once. This defeats the purpose of the one-to-one service that I pride myself on providing and can create difficulties for dogs who are not comfortable around others.

In some cases, late collections can also impact subsequent appointments and may even force me to rearrange or cancel bookings.

To ensure I can continue providing the best possible service:

🐾 Appointment times are booked for a specific time and I ask that all clients arrive promptly. A 15-minute grace period for drop off is in place for unexpected delays or genuine emergencies only and should not be treated as an extension of your appointment time.

🐾 If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, I will no longer be able to accept your dog for their appointment, and a 50% late cancellation fee will apply.

🐾 Please collect your dog by the given pick up time, appropriate notice will be given. By collecting your dog late you are subsequently taking time away from another client and their dog.

🐾 If you know your schedule will not allow you to drop off or collect your dog on time, please do not book that appointment slot. I will be happy to find a more suitable appointment time for you.

🐾 Continued late arrivals and/or late collections will not be tolerated and may result in future appointments being refused.

I work hard and long hours to accommodate all of my clients and appreciate your cooperation in helping me maintain the calm, safe, one-to-one grooming experience that every dog deserves.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support. ❤️🐶

☀️🐾 Hot Weather Policy Reminder 🐾☀️

As we head into the warmer summer months, your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first here at the salon ❤️

When temperatures reach 25°C or above, appointments may need to be:
• moved to an earlier or later time of day
• rescheduled to a cooler day
• or adjusted where possible to reduce heat exposure

This is due to the increased risk of heat stroke, especially for:
🐶 Puppies
🐶 Geriatric/senior dogs
🐶 Dogs with particularly long or thick coats
🐶 Breeds or coats that require long drying times

The combination of warm weather and the heat from grooming dryers can become dangerous very quickly, as well as the risk of traveling your dog too and from the salon either on foot or in a car, and I would always rather rearrange an appointment than put any dog at risk.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as I do everything I can to keep your pups safe and comfortable this summer ☀️💛

Please also remember:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🚶 Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day
🌳 Seek shade and cool areas whenever possible

Thank you,
Shauna 🐾

🚧 Roadworks Notice 🚧

Hi everyone! Just a quick update to let you know there are currently roadworks in the area, which may cause some delays with drop-offs and pick-ups.

Areas affected:
Coatdyke
Towhead Road
Drumpellier Lochs
Bargeddie

🐾 Drop-offs:
I allow a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. Unfortunately, if you arrive later than this, the appointment will be classed as missed and a no-show fee will apply.

🐾 Pick-ups:
As I work on a 1-to-1 basis, it’s really important that dogs are collected on time. Late pick-ups can impact the rest of my schedule and other appointments.

I completely understand that the roadworks may cause inconvenience, so please allow extra travel time if you plan on travelling via any of these roads.

Thank you so much for your consideration and understanding 💛🐶
