🚨 IMMEDIATE MEDICAL RESCUE NEEDED by 12 PM, OCTOBER 12
Daisy Bell – A0061884563 is a 3-year-old, 9.4 lb female Chihuahua mix who arrived at Silcox Animal Shelter on October 10 with significant injuries.
Radiographs were taken and reviewed by our veterinarian, who identified:
- Severely fractured pelvis with displacement
- Multiple fractures involving the right proximal femur and proximal tibia
- Reluctance to walk and suspected non-weight-bearing on a hind limb
Due to the severity of her injuries, Daisy Bell has been started on buprenorphine for pain management, in addition to other medications. She requires further veterinary evaluation and treatment beyond what we can provide in the shelter. MedicalSummaryReport - 2026-10-11T124711.530.pdf
Daisy Bell is heartworm negative and has been added to our UPP Immediate list.
⏰ Confirmed rescue placement needed by 12 PM tomorrow, October 12.
Without placement, humane euthanasia may be necessary due to the severity of her injuries and our limited ability to provide the advanced care she needs.
