Here at Green Feather Farm we raise a variety of softbill birds, primarily Ramphastids. We also keep a herd of Suri alpacas and variety of other small exotics.

An Ivory-Bill aracari hatched yesterday. I sometimes forget how incredibly tiny they start out! But they also grow so fast!!

The Guyana toucanets are beginning to feather and it’s become obvious we have one male and two hens. One hen is already committed. We have yet to find any other breeders in the US currently raising this species. If you work with them or know someone who does, please reach out to us!

We are currently hand feeding a clutch of Guyana toucanets and two chicks are still available to go to new farms. We should know sexes in about a week. This species is not often bred and captive bred individuals are not commonly available. Contact us today to find out how to add one of these to your home!

We just pulled the second clutch of Guyana toucanets (Selenidera pipervora) for hand rearing today. Thrilled to be adding three more individuals to the US population!

Yesterday evening, our large female South African Leopard tortoise (Stigmochelys pardalis) laid her first clutch of the year! 15 beautiful eggs!
