Healing Paws Rescue focuses on the future of dogs that have had rough starts to life, lost an owner due to an illness and need a new home, or even the ones where unforeseen circumstances have come up and the previous owner can no longer afford their care. We will take them in and find them the new life and home they all deserve. We will also travel to southern states to help dogs in need that coul

d potentially be placed on the euthanasia list due to shelters or humane societies that have reached capacity as well as those that have been found as strays on the streets.

What an incredible day! Thank you to everyone who came out to join us for Puppy Yoga and Puppy Social Hour.

Because of your support, we raised $780 for Healing Paws Rescue! ❤️

Every ticket purchased, every puppy snuggled, and every smile shared helps us continue providing care, medical treatment, food, and safe foster homes for animals in need.

We’re so grateful for this amazing community that continues to show up for rescue animals time and time again. Whether you stretched alongside a puppy, stopped by for social hour, volunteered, fostered, donated, or simply helped spread the word thank you for making a difference.

Meet Lloyd. 🥰

Lloyd's story - owner surrender to another rescue. That rescue had xrays done and found Lloyd had surgical needs that they were unable to financially take on, so they reached out to other rescues asking to take him and his medical expenses on. He was given a deadline of a couple days when we were approached.

Lloyd is a 4-year old labradoodle that is the happiest, sweetest boy who wants love.

Lloyd's surgery is scheduled for July 13, 2026, at RPAW Animal Wellness Center in Columbus, MN. Please help us to reach the goal of getting his surgery paid for so when we are asked for another pup needing help in the future, we will be able to help.

Healing Paws Rescue is a 501c3, so if you need a tax deduction, this is a great reason to donate!

We have to take a moment to shine the spotlight on one of our absolutely incredible fosters! Not only does she have a heart of gold opening her home to animals in need, but she is also a phenomenal baker.On the weekends, she bakes and sells the most yummy, mouth-watering, and undeniably addicting goodies at her local farm stand. She also has a website where you can pre order goodies!! We highly recommend stopping by, trying her treats, and supporting a small local business that does so much for our rescue community!📍 Be sure to keep an eye on her page or drop by the stand this weekend to grab a bite!

Meet Dolly the doodle 🎀! She’s a 4 year old labradoodle with the personality of a puppy. She has a constant wiggle butt, loves playing ball, and thinks attention from her people is the greatest thing ever.

She gets along great with both male and female dogs, but I think she’d do just as well as an only dog soaking up all the attention.

A fenced yard would be ideal because she loves to run and play and will need to feel safe.

She is kennel trained, sleeps through the night but wants to be near you.

She and her brother were owner surrendered, so she’s understandably a little skittish while adjusting to a new home. Nothing concerning—just a reminder that new places and new people can be scary.

She is a really sweet dog with a lot of love to give and would make a great addition to the right family. Let’s find her the best furever home! 🩷

It’s time.

Here she is…. Meet Truffle. This spirited little cuddle bug is approximately 11 weeks old and 6.5 lbs. She is working on potty training and knows 'sit' and 'lay down.' However, she doesn’t stay in those positions long because she is looking for her next treat. She will wake you up in the middle of the night to go outside, and she will quickly do her business and go back to sleep. Being in the kennel isn’t her favorite, but as long as she can see you, she is fine. She does have one webbed front paw (the two middle toes are joined). We are working on bathing and grooming, so she will be accustomed to what is expected since she will need regular grooming.

When outside, she stays close by and doesn’t wander, but she loves to chew on pinecones; they’re her favorite outside toy. This beautiful little girl will be happy to go on walks or just run around the yard. Truffle plays exceptionally well with her foster siblings (both are standard poodles), and despite her size, she isn’t intimidated easily. She will get in their face, chase them, and play tug with the toys. If she isn’t getting what she wants out of them, she will let them know with her voice. She may be tiny, but do not misjudge her.

We’re not sure yet what her DNA makeup is, but we know she is some kind of doodle. Her mom was approximately 25-30 lbs. We will have an idea in a couple of weeks or so what genetic gems give this love bug her feisty attitude. If you’re looking for a cute cuddle bug for movie nights, playing outside, or fun entertainment inside, this one is for you. She loves car rides and getting all the attention you are willing to dish out. This one will have everyone falling in love.

Truffle does well with dogs of all sizes but she can get nippy when she is trying to get them to play. She did live with cats before coming into foster but unknown how much she really interacted with them. She loves everyone.

This 10 pound girl is Olive! She is just the sweetest little love bug. Olive has been learning that life in a loving home is pretty AMAZING as she hasn't experienced that in her 4 years. Olive has found that other dogs are super fun to play with, a yard is the best thing ever to run around in, a couch is great to snuggle up on, and a cat may be the strangest thing ever - so she just barks at it.

Olive is working so hard at potty training and definitely does well on a routine, but she does not let anyone know it's time to go outside. She does sleep in a kennel at night with her friend, Saydie, and when we are not home. Olive has made great strides coming out of her skiddish shell, but she still has moments.

Olive is looking for a home with a confident dog to learn from and play with. She also would do best with a fenced in yard.
