2016 was the year we moved to Australia and discovered our love for the country 🇦🇺🦘
Who would have thought a year working holiday visa, would have turned into 10 years, a business, 2 dogs & a bearded dragon 😂
I grew a lot as a person in 2016, it was a year of discovery, making friends, exploring, letting go and going with the flow 🌊 The idea of van life seems glammed up from Instagram, but the reality is it’s tough. Especially with a boyfriend, you have to learn to be really comfortable together and see each other at your worst 😂
Our van 🚐 didn’t have air con, the drivers window was broken, if we drove too fast the van would shake. We didn’t have any techy camping gear, coolers, batteries. Just a coolbox that kept things cool for like 1 hr. When it rained our van leaked and our mattress would get soaked through.
The memories, experiences, and shear beauty of Australia outweighed any bad days ☀️
I would give anything to go back to this life for a few months 🌴🐠 If we hadn’t moved back to Melbs for Scott to get sponsored through his work, I probably wouldn’t be writing this now! Dog ice cream may not exisit🙀
