Pionus Baby update! 09/27/2026
Folks, now is the time to get on the wait list for December babies.

We have been very busy here on the farm with several repairs. Fix something and then something else breaks. Rain sometimes twice a day which can limit outside work.

Pionus Blue Heads are in the nest box, ETA any day.

Pionus Dusky's are nesting. We are hoping on Dec babies. They like the colder temperature.

Bronze Winged are resting; Boxes will go up soon. ETA Feb, May, July babies.

Maximilian: none hatched
White capped: none hatched

Thank you for your support!

Pionus Baby update! 08/22/2026

Great News! Proven pair of Blue Heads are sitting hard in the next box. ETA 30 days or less. If you are NOT on our waiting list for a Blue Headed Baby. Now would be the time. It is FREE to be on our wait list.

Dusky's: The older pair are nesting Get one before they are ALL GONE! Forever! Unless our younger pairs figure it out.
Even if our younger pairs learn and breed. Unless the import laws change. They will be GONE forever from the USA!!

Maxis; Nesting but no one is on eggs.

White Capped; Last clutch did not hatch.

Folks, I can't do this forever! Getting up at 3 AM going to the airport is grueling. There are real Pirates of the Caribbean down here that we have to deal with at Air Cargo, lol. Not sure when I will retire, maybe in a year or two. Who will breed & train these birds?
