Yuma, we need you.

A few months ago, Pack Theory was an idea I had because my dogs needed somewhere safe to exercise in a city where summer can make the pavement literally dangerous.

Today, Pack Theory is an LLC with a completed business plan, a lender who is genuinely excited about the project, a registered entry in October's Moonshot small-business competition, and a plan to build this thing in phases.

And yesterday, we got some very good news—and one hell of a challenge.

The lender told us we're not necessarily limited to the small microloan we originally planned around. If we can build enough equity, we may be able to finance Prototype Zero AND the Pack Theory facility concurrently, rather than waiting years between phases.

The catch? We have to bring 10% to the table.

The good news is that 10% doesn't necessarily mean 10% in cash. Equipment, business assets, grants, sponsorships, donations, and other things of value owned by the LLC can contribute toward that equity.

So this is where Yuma gets to help build it.

We're actively raising money through our GoFundMe, but we're also looking for people and businesses who want to help through equipment donations, sponsorships, grants, partnerships, introductions, or other resources.

And we're not asking the community to do all the work. I'm currently developing three separate side projects specifically to generate additional income that can be funneled back into Pack Theory. Apparently my solution to not having startup capital was to invent more businesses. 😂

But community support is what got us here in the first place.

Every person who followed the page, joined the Founding Pack, shared a post, commented, asked about the project, or told somebody else about it has helped keep this moving. I genuinely didn't know how much that would matter when I started.

Now we need to turn that attention into momentum.

If you believe Yuma needs better options for dogs and their people, here's how you can help:

🐾 Donate if you can.
🐾 Share this post and the GoFundMe.
🐾 Join the Founding Pack.
🐾 Introduce us to businesses that might sponsor or donate equipment.
🐾 Connect us with grants, investors, community organizations, or anyone who can help us build the equity we need.

You don't have to be able to write a giant check.

You might know someone who can open a door.

And sometimes that's worth more than the check.

We've got the plan. We've got the determination. We've got a lender who wants to keep talking to us.

Now we need Yuma to help us get across the gap.

Let's build something here that gives our dogs a better life—and gives the people building their lives in Yuma a reason to stay.

Pack Theory is ready.

Are you? 🐾

Okay, Pack Theory people, I need to give y'all an update.

First: thank you. Seriously.

The followers, the Founding Pack members, the people sharing posts, commenting, asking questions, and generally cheering us on—you have no idea how much that has mattered. Building something this big when you're starting with basically nothing is intimidating as hell, and knowing people are actually paying attention has kept me moving more times than I can count.

Yesterday, Skye and I met with the lender.

The good news: he's excited about Pack Theory. Like, genuinely excited. He told us to keep in close contact, and we're no longer necessarily limited to the small microloan we originally expected.

The bad news: apparently poor people are supposed to magically produce 10% of whatever they want to borrow. 🤣

BUT—and this is the important part—that 10% doesn't have to be cash. It can include equipment, assets, grants, sponsorships, donations, and other things of value owned by the LLC.

So we're shifting gears.

We're no longer fundraising just to cover the little pre-lending expenses. We're now building Pack Theory's equity so we can unlock the financing needed to actually move.

And if we can build enough of that equity? We may be able to pursue Prototype Zero AND the facility concurrently instead of waiting years between phases.

I'm also working on multiple side projects specifically to try to generate additional capital for Pack Theory, because apparently my solution to needing money is simply to invent more businesses. 🤦‍♀️😂

But this is where I need the community.

If you've been following along and believe in what we're trying to build, now is the time to help push.

Donate if you can. Share the GoFundMe. Tell someone about Pack Theory. Introduce us to potential sponsors, equipment donors, grant opportunities, or anyone who might want to be part of building this.

Every bit of support helps.

Y'all helped take this project from something I was scribbling ideas about while watching my dogs lose their minds in the Yuma heat to a real LLC, a real plan, meetings with lenders, and a legitimate shot at building something much bigger than I originally imagined.

That happened because people paid attention.

So thank you for being here. And if you're ready to help us kick this thing into high gear...

Let's build Pack Theory. 🐾

Remember when this page had like 12 followers and I was talking to myself? 🤣

Small update...

The business plan survived its SBDC review with almost no edits, I'm getting introduced to a lender, we're looking at a local grant competition in October, and there are some really exciting partnership opportunities starting to open up.

Still a mountain to climb, but for the first time this feels less like dreaming and more like building.

Thank you to everyone who's been cheering this crazy idea on. We aren't done yet. Not even close. 🐺💙

It's finally here.

After months of research, revisions, late nights, and more redesigns than I can count, Volume I of the Pack Theory Business Plan is officially at Release Candidate status and ready to go 🎉

I'd love for you to take a look and tell me what you think. Questions, suggestions, things I may have missed—I want to hear it all.
This project has been built with our community in mind from day one, so your feedback really does matter.

Thanks for following this crazy journey. 🐾❤️

I can share the pdf on Google Docs or send it directly, just message me if you have the time.

I have gotten so much done the last few days, design hyperfocus is in full-swing 😁 the upside is that the run club bus is, for all intents and purposes, done. The main facility designed, done. The playbook is almost done. The new pics aren't 100%, like it's got the wrong mills in there and there's going to be a ton more color, but it's solid.

For my bookworms, if you're interested in proofreading my business plan before it goes to the SBA next week, hmu. I'll be posting overviews as I go, so you guys can see the master plan! Pack Theory has turned into something so much bigger than I ever expected.

Thank you all for your support, I'm so excited to get your feedback!

Okay... I have to share this.

For the first time, Pack Theory is starting to look like something that could actually exist instead of just living in my head. 🤯

This isn't the final design. It's a concept based on months of planning, feedback, and way too many late-night "what if..." conversations.

Every little detail has a reason. The colors. The layout. The dog flow. Even the bilingual signs. If you've been following this project for a while, you'll probably recognize a few inside jokes. 😅

If you're the kind of person who loves digging into the details, I'll be posting the full concept and design notes too. I'd genuinely love your feedback before anything becomes permanent.

This has never been my project.

It's becoming our Pack.

More to come!
See you tomorrow. 🐾

Packtheoryyuma.lovable.app is up! I anybody knows more about website stuff, DM me, pretty please bc clearly I am a novice 🫶 love you guys!

I'll be reaching out to everyone who volunteered for the advisory board at some point this week so we can organize an initial meet-and-greet. We're growing slow and steady, and you guys have been so awesome in how much everybody wants to get involved!

Please excuse the construction mess!

We're deploying the first website version rn. The shopify store may go offline during the migration and the url may say it doesn't point anywhere while this is going on, both temporary while the computers do computer stuff.

One more thing checked off my list 😎 I changed my sheets, too, which Bubba took immediately as property abandonment and stole my spot.
