I am still looking for the right retirement home for Dakota. She is AKC/ASCA registered, fixed and a great family dog- does not herd kids. Loves the tennis ball. Trustworthy around small livestock and poultry. She just turned 8 and is very healthy and young at heart. Loves a good horseback ride or game of fetch.

She CANNOT be in a home with other female dogs. Being an only dog would be ideal. She doesn’t start fights but she’s a boss and won’t back down from any others that think they are. Unfortunately, our older girl Cherry thinks she’s boss and we have to keep them separated at all times.

RACHEL RAIN AND WIND POTENTIAL🌀🌧️🌬️rain will be the main concern as Rachel’s remnants interact with an approaching West Coast trough Sunday into early next week, but strong wind gusts could also develop as the systems merge!

Winds may become enhanced near the remnant circulation and ahead of the trough, especially across exposed mountains, passes and deserts. Some Southern California locations could see gusts approaching wind advisory levels Sunday or Monday.

The California–Arizona border into western Arizona is an area to watch, but confidence in where the strongest winds will occur remains limited. That corridor could shift depending on Rachel’s eventual track and how its remnants interact with the trough🌀🌧️🌬️

This year’s olive crop is impressive! I need more olive trees! I’m curing them with lye for the first time. Previously, I’ve used a salt cure but it takes a LONG time and A LOT of salt.

A friend’s husband was in a terrible UTV accident out of state in Colorado. She rushed to be with him and stay there until he is stable enough to be transported home. Please keep John in your prayers! He has more surgeries ahead of him! Here’s the link if you would like to donate:
