We are so excited to share that they have all found homes and TaeTae + Jin and Suga + Kookie even got adopted together in pairs!

ADOPT RAMONA 💕 She’s a young 1.5 yr old petite tabby girl with a sweet personality. We rescued her from the Riverside Shelter where her family surrendered her not being able to afford a pet. Sadly Ramona is getting a little overlooked at the lounge being surrounded by all the irresistible kittens recently, so we wanted to highlight her and share her cuteness.

Ramona loves a soft, comfortable bed, gentle pets and dinner time. (Relatable queen!) Come meet Ramona and the rest of our 25+ adoptable cats and kittens at our lounge or fill out an application online.

HUGE NEWS! EEYORE GOT A BOYFRIEND & THEY BOTH GOT ADOPTED 🏳️‍🌈🎉 We are over the moon with Eeyore’s new life. The past few weeks we have seen him totally fall in love with this other kitty, George. They kiss. They chirp at each other. They cuddle. They’re practically attached at the hip. They even kind of adopted a baby (as seen in the video lol) It’s incredibly random and we’re not sure what’s so enticing about George compared to the 30 others cats, but we’re certainly a supporter of his new gay lifestyle! 😅

Eeyore has already come a long way from the completely shut down, dissociated kitty that we rescued from being euthanized at the Devore shelter. We decided that George is bringing out the best in him and that we needed to officially classify them as bonded. But I was incredibly worried that they would take forever to find a home since bonded pairs take longer. But these star crossed lovers were lucky and found an amazing family and have gone home today. They will now spend the rest of their lives with their beloved. Love wins always- even as a meow meow 🐈‍⬛👏

HOW DO WE CHOOSE? 🥺 Rescue is so hard for many reasons but in SoCal where thousands of animals are being euthanized, and thousands more being hoarded, abandoned or procreating outside - it feels like an impossibly cruel task to decide who to save.

We were able to take in 6 cats and kittens from the San Bernardino City shelter this week, and this is what it looks like before they come to our lounge. Since our rescue has pull rights at the shelters, we prioritize those who may not have any other option. Needless to say the cats who come to our lounge have hit the ultimate rags to riches jackpot.(Like Dolly Purrton and Tim Purry) I so wish we could provide that opportunity to so many more but as a super small team and even smaller resources: we do our best. That’s been my motto since day one.

200 MEOW MEOWS ADOPTED IN 2026 🐾 We’re excited to have hit this number which indicates it might be our biggest adoption year yet! Most of those little lives would have been carelessly euthanized at the high-kill shelters where we rescue them from. If you’ve adopted this year- share their photos in the comments!

falling in love at the cat lounge❔ George & Eeyore come from different backgrounds but have become quite the duo here at the lounge. we have slowly watched them become more bonded as the days go by 😻 where George goes, Eeyore is sure to follow. we would love for these two shy boys to go home as a pair where they can continue to help each other feel confident & comfortable 💙🐾
