Save the Meow Meows

CHURUS IN DEMAND 🫣 can you send some treats our way?

We’re afraid the kitties are running low on their favorite tube treats and they’ve started licking their lips looking at our staff. Help us by sending some treats their way by shopping our Amazon wishlist! Click the link in our bio or on the website and it gets shipped directly to the rescue, it’s super easy :)

Treats are actually an integral part of the lounge experience and help the cats become more social, confident around strangers and creates special bonding moments.

Thank you for sending snacks to the meow meows 🫶

ADOPT A SPOOKY HALLOWEEN KITTY 🐈‍⬛ we’ve got quite the collection of black cats at the lounge right now and they’re all looking for homes in time for their favorite holiday! It’s also black cat appreciation month so it’s a great time to shine light on our all black feline friends who often are the most overlooked at shelters.

& for those who worry about black cats being adopted in October, its actually a myth that they have any increased risk, and the freaks who do sick things to animals are absolutely getting them from ‘free kittens’ posts on FB and Craigslist, not filling out adoption contracts, meeting us in person and paying $150. That said, always keep your cats indoors and never give away animals for free.

If you have a black cat, we’d love to see! Share their names or photos in the comments 🐾✨and maybe think about adding a second…or third….or fourth… to your home! 🫣

ADOPT NUTMEG ✨ She’s a gorgeous girl who was a previous mama and now is looking for a home herself! She’s nearly 2 years old and the sweetest kitty. Nutmeg was rescued from the San Bernardino shelter but you can meet her at our cat lounge in Yucca Valley.

Come hang out with our 25-30 cats (and tons of kittens right now!) for just $13 which goes to support our lifesaving rescue efforts. If you’re not local but still want to support saving meow meows from high-kill shelters consider becoming a monthly donor by visiting our website.
