While we have some quiet time after this crazy week. The last reason we started carrying dog and cat toys is because of the last little Tyrant/ cat , bird beast. When Casie said she wanted another Sphynx I kind of freaked out. And said NO WAY! Anddddd of course we started looking. We found the cutest little girl with cat ear markings on her little forehead. So we decided she was the one. We went pick her up in Livingston Texas when it was time. She was the tiniest little thing. She fit in the palm of our hands. We had the bathroom set up for her with a soft kennel for when we needed to leave. With a heater running in the bathroom. And at night we bought a small soft kennel that went between our pillows with the heart beat cat for her to cuddle with. And we covered the whole kennel with our blanket. Mella and I sat in the bathroom having many meals together. Because when we brought her home casie left for offshore a couple days later. From the beginning I could see she was a little tyrant and she would run this place. š¤£šš¤£ we slowly started letting her meet her brothers after 4 weeks of having her. She was still so tiny but she had some beast in her. First we let her meet Carl the Cat. She automatically slapped him to let him know she was going to be the boss from then on. Then she met Brees. Poor brees till this day dosent have a chance with her. Then Bear Bear , I think Bear Bear tried to put her in his mouth a couple times. But she slapped him too. We opened the bathroom door when we thought she was strong enough and we let the beast loose into the house. She did still sleep in her soft kennel between us at night for a while just to make sure she was warm. And eventually she didnāt want to be in the kennel anymore. But she had heated beds allover the house. So we let her do her thing. She is the best baddest girl ever. If youāve even had a Sphynx or been around them. Yāall know how different they are from a regular cat. They CAN be walking medical problems but we stay ontop of everything. She does get HCM scanned once a year for her heart. We keep her weight down. Weāve done the PCR test to make sure she had no underlying issues that would pop up on us. After our first Sphynx passed away in my arms on I10 speeding to LSU. We take no chances with this girl. Thank GOD for Carecredit is all I will say hahahahah. She will be 2 in July sheās going for her second HCM scan and she runs her brothers lives. And secretly runs ours hahahaha. And she is the reason we have not taken a vacation since we got her because I am scared if we leave her for more than 1 night she will get sick. And letās face it feeding and vetting these dang animals we canāt afford a vacation anyway hahahaha. But they are all SO worth it. I would not trade any of them for the world. So sheās the only animal weāve paid for but unless youāve been around or owned a Sphynx you would not understand they are so worth it. They are almost like having a child. I find they attach to humans more than a regular animal. I call her my cat / bird because her favorite place to be is sitting on our shoulders. I can wash dishes and cook with her sitting on my shoulder. But when sheās ready to cause chaos. She does it with all her little heart hahahaha. She will wake Carl the cat up just to beat him up, when Brees
Is running through the house. She will jump up and wrap her arms around him
And flip him. Bear bear she dosent mess with to much. But when he walks past her. She canāt help herself. She HAD to hit him on the butt. Just to say she put her paws on him š¤£šš¤£šš. She LOVES to play with toys and will swat stuff allover the house ALL NIGHT. My favorite part about her is she wakes up choosing violence for the day. She will follow me and throw down whatever she can the minute she wakes up. And when I fuss her for choosing violence. She will voice back to me. Sheās learned very early how to turn off my c- pap when she wants me to wake up. Or if we leave for just a couple hours. We come home to my c-pap running because she was looking for us. Even though her mom and dad we completely bald. She does have some fuzz. Which we are actually happy about. Because she does not stain everything she lays on. She lets us trim her nails and clean her ears. But she demands a treat after all that. She forces us to pet her rather we want to or not. She knows how to open the door and let herself in the house to go check her food bowl if by chance I fed her. She is our smart toddler. She is VERY opinionated when I tell her no. So thatās our last baby girl and the reason we expanded to cat toys. Because our girl loves them and I wanted cool toys and good quality cat nip.
