Happy Friday Acadiana! We have a generous donor wanting to cover the cost to have ten lucky cats spayed or neutered. In return, she wants a post full of happy cats!

Our pet overpopulation crisis is overwhelming and exhausting for anyone trying to help. Help us spread a little optimism today.

A team of generous hearts showed up to provide free microchips and low cost vaccines this morning, and our community met us there! While we were too busy to take pictures, we saw over 70 pets, and all proceeds will go to funding more free and low cost services to pets in our community.

Costs associated with this clinic were generously covered by a private donation.

30 CAT SPAY/NEUTER

BFF Spay Neuter Project is helping low-income families get their cats spayed/neutered at a deeply reduced cost, thanks to the support of Humane Society of Louisiana.

Through this program, qualifying households can have their cat spayed or neutered for $30.

The services will be provided by Acadiana Spay Neuter.

To qualify, proof of government assistance is required. Examples of proof include:
• SNAP
• SSI
• Medicaid

It's that time of the year again! We are gearing up for multiple Mini Clinic events this summer. Our first event alone will host over 100 kids! All of these children will be learning how to be responsible pet parents. They will learn about spay and neuter, heartworm disease, and vaccines. So many future animal advocates. So many little minds learning how to be the next generation of great pet parents!
This means that we need plush pets, adoption certificates, and name badges. If you feel inclined to help with this mission, we have shared a link to our amazon wishlist below.
