It's me, Johnny Cash (aka the Man in Black!)

While I might not be world famous, my personality most certainly is super star material! I am probably one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. I am not just over-the-top friendly with people, but I know how to Walk the Line - I have tested well with other kids, cats, and even dogs! I am an older and more distinguished 10 year old gentleman looking to charm you with my sweet and calm personality and my beautiful voice. Don't be surprised if I greet you with a deep and raspy "MEE-OWW" with a little southern twang. I am the kind of guy that leans into you for love, absolutely absorbs all of our one-on-one time, and would likely follow you from room to room while crooning you a tune.

Just like the original Man in Black, I have had a few hard times in life. I previously had a kidney stone, so now I stay healthy on prescription urinary food! Since then, I have been doing wonderfully and taking life one peace(ful day) at a time! I have been so doggone lonely and the only thing that could help me get rhythm back is finding that special someone to cure my blues! After all, I am just a sweet old soul hoping to find a family that I can write a harmoniously beautiful ballad with!

I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, current on prevention, and FIV/FeLV negative. This sweet hearted outlaw would happily be the Johnny to your June!

My name is Huxley! I am a 1 year old, neutered, Anatolian Shepherd Mix, and weight 70 lbs.

I am a very special boy, and I can’t wait to show you just how wonderful I am. While I need a little time to get to know and trust you, once I do you will be rewarded with the most loving and loyal best friend you could ever imagine! I am hesitant and nervous with new people at first, but just give me a few minutes and a nice walk and I’ll be (literally) eating out of your hand! Sometimes, the best things in life take a little time. I love my people! I can spot one of my friends in a crowd and am so dedicated to the ones who have given me just a little time to warm up. I also love other dogs and play wonderfully with all of my pup friends.

I would be best in a home with adults.
I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter everyday and play with dogs of all sizes.
I do not have a known history with cats.

I would love someone who is patient and understanding that some pups need a sense of safety and security. Even in the chaotic shelter environment, I have developed deep trusting friendships with the staff. They are confident that the right family that gives me the time and love I so crave will be incredibly lucky to be loved by me!

INTRODUCING GRACEY!

Gracey isn't your everyday kitty - no, she is far from average! In fact, Gracey has overcome more in her short 2 years than most people experience in a lifetime. She is our little fighter! Gracey arrived at our shelter with a severe injury to her back leg, resulting in a broken femur. Terrified, confused, and in pain, Gracey was reluctant to allow us to help. Luckily, we knew that deep down she was a sweet and gentle girl that just needed a chance. We were able to amputate Gracey's mangled leg and now, she is living her best life on 3 paws!

While Gracey can still be nervous of new situations, she is a total lovebug and is learning that trusting people is something she WANTS to do. She loves getting scratches and head rubs, and has proved to be a little talker! Gracey has also tested well with other cats and seems to enjoy having someone to lean on. Since Gracey is so young, she has adjusted to her change in paw count wonderfully and has made incredible strides in her mobility. All she needs now is someone to help her continue to grow and gain confidence!

Gracey is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on prevention, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Give our terrific tripod tabby a chance!

My name is Maisie! I am an 1 year old, spayed, American Staffy Mix, and weigh 37 pounds!

I have the typical energy you would expect for a young puppy my age! I love to go for walks, play with my dog friends, and get all the kisses! I am a super affectionate girl and I am very receptive to people. I just want to make you happy! I love other dogs, playing with toys in the yard, and spending time with both my canine and human friends. I am always smiling with my big happy grin! I have that wonderful energy level where I am excited to play, but once I get my fill it is CUDDLE TIME!

While I haven’ t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks playful, sweet personality would make me a good buddy for kids that are respectful and kind towards me.
I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day!

I would be the perfect match for someone who needs an active best buddy – walks, playtime outside, you know – the “usual” stuff! Most importantly, I need someone that is going to be a great companion and that loves to cuddle!

I am spayed, up-to-date on rabies, vaccinations, and flea/tick & heartworm prevention.
