Our hearts are shattered into a million pieces, again......
Sadly our Super Senior, Twitch crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning as her tiny head rested in Cat Daddy's hand and Cat Mom's petting her as she passed...πΏπ
There is no greater feeling in rescue like having a kitty that has been discarded, thrown away or abandoned chose to open their hearts once again and trust a human and you are the chosen one. That is the case with Twitch.....
Her story starts when she was adopted at 3 years old by a family and they had her for years before the parents ended up getting a divorce. The dad moved and had Twitch with him. At some point after moving into the new house in a new town, Twitch got out and they never saw her again. Whether or not they looked for her, she was never found by them. That was 7 years ago......
Some one had been taking care of her up until they moved and left her behind.
So sadly, Twitch had lost another family... πΏπ
She wandered the area until some caring people realized she had been left behind and brought her to Adams County Pet Rescue. From there she came to us at JaspersKatz.
Even though she had lost 2 families she still found it in her heart to trust Cat Daddy enough to chose him as her human. She would follow him everywhere just to be picked up and cuddled for a bit. Being a tortie, she still had to maintain SOME control and when she was done with the cuddling, she would want to get down, but she never went far from where he was. If he was downstairs she would be downstairs sleeping in a chair next to him at his desk.
She knew this was her home for the rest of her life as she trusted once again that Cat Daddy and Cat Mom would be there for her when she needed them to be.
That time was today.... Rest in health....We will miss you Twitch....
We love you....β€β€πβ€
