🚗☀️ HOT CARS CAN KILL PETS 🐶🐱

Please never leave your dog or cat inside a parked vehicle—even for “just a few minutes.”

Cars can heat up dangerously fast, and cracking the windows does not make it safe. Pets can quickly suffer from heatstroke, brain damage, organ failure, or even death.

Watch for signs of heatstroke:
🐾 Heavy panting
🐾 Drooling
🐾 Weakness or collapse
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 Bright red gums
🐾 Extreme lethargy or distress

If it’s hot outside, the safest place for your pet is at home in a cool, comfortable space with plenty of fresh water.

❤️ A quick errand is never worth risking their life.

☀️ HEAT WARNING — Please Protect Outdoor Animals! 🐾

With temperatures rising, please take a few extra minutes to make sure outdoor animals are safe and comfortable.

💧 Provide plenty of fresh, cool water
🌳 Make sure they have proper shade throughout the day
🥣 Check water bowls often and refill as needed
🏠 Give them shelter from direct sunlight
🌡️ Watch closely for signs of overheating or heat exhaustion

Remember, shade can move as the sun changes position, and water can heat up quickly outside.

A little extra care can make a BIG difference and could even save a life. ❤️🐾

Is anyone missing a gray male cat? Found injured by a member of the commmnity. After networking he found his way to our rescue. He needs vet care and neutered.

If this is not your pet and it’s a community cat he still needs vet care. If you’d like to donate to help us provide this guy with the needed care please let us know.

He was found near the river on 2nd street. No microchip and has a terrible ear wound.
