As you know me, Maggie, I love to always shine a light and support animal rescues whenever possible. There are so many incredible organizations out there doing the hard, heartbreaking, and beautiful work of giving animals a second chance at life — and today I want to introduce one that is truly special ❤️

✨ Misfits of Oz Farm Sanctuary✨

Located in the rural plains of central Oklahoma, Misfits of Oz Farm Sanctuary is home to nearly 60 rescued animals who have been saved from abandonment, neglect, abuse, and cruelty. What makes this sanctuary even more incredible is their focus on last chance and special needs animals — the ones who often have nowhere else to go.

These sweet souls are not just rescued… they are given a lifelong sanctuary, safety, love, and a place to finally feel secure. Animals who may have never gotten another chance are able to live out their lives surrounded by care and compassion 🥹🐐🐴🐶🐷🐓

Running a sanctuary like this takes a village, and rescues can always use support — whether that’s donations, supplies, volunteering, sharing their page, or simply helping spread awareness.

Chance received his final (3rd) heartworm treatment injection. Unfortunately his leg isn’t healing quite like we hoped so in a couple weeks we will revisit his surgery and see what we need to do next. HOWEVER Chance is still looking for a foster home. *sigh*

We literally can not help dogs like Chance without foster homes. 🥺

We have been hit hard with medical dogs lately and will need to get these kids all vetted up before helping others.
