A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Rozzie and Positively Striking! Jared, Rozzie and Granny Jackie have been at the Illinois State Fair showing our harness mare. This is their first time showing at a society show! What a way to be welcomed into Hackney Pony land ❤️

What do you do with your first ever Hackney in your first ever AHHS Youth Medallion class? Well, you go out there and win!

Roslyn Nichols and Positively Striking made a striking debut winning the AHHS Youth Medallion Hackney/Harness Pony class at the Illinois State Fair Society Horse Show.

What a week!!! Three Grand Champions, one Reserve Grand Champion, and a boat load of Champions and Reserve Champions. We also got the gate in some classes 😆 But... the best thing isn't these ribbons... it's the memories we've made, the jokes that keep us laughing through dirt and sweat, the friends that come when needed, the mentors that take the time, and the ponies that love to stand up and show!!!

It truly takes a village to make this all happen and boy do we love our village of pony people 🥰 Safe travels to everyone heading home from St Louis!

What an ending to a fantastic week! This pretty mare must have scared off all the competition after the open class earlier this week as she was the only one in the stakes!!! She went Grand Champion in the ASPR Harness division and had a beautiful drive despite loosing a shoe. Again, a huge thanks to the ladies at KSW for your expert handling and presentation as well as Uncle Donnie for getting her shoe back on! Next up.... Illinois State Fair!

Backstreet Boy EGF went Congress Grand Champion Classic Pleasure Driving in the Over Division with Breanna Nicole Baldwin at the whip! We are so incredibly proud of our home grown boy and feel honored to have such a successful first year in performance. We also cannot express our sincere gratitude to all the phenomenal ladies at KSW!!! You've welcomed us into your horse show family with open arms, and taken such good care of our Arnie!!!

🎀 Ladies Night 🎀
Granny Jackie Tyler checked off a life long dream and bucket list item to drive a fine harness pony... and what a beautiful drive she had with Positively Striking in the ASPR Ladies Fine Harness class tonight.

This was followed up with another nice drive with our very own, home grown favorite, Backstreet Boy EGF aka Arnie!!! She came out with a 3rd in a tough class of 9 in the Classic Ladies Pleasure Driving.

Congratulations to Granny and your pretty ponies!!!

We wrapped up halter classes this evening and we couldn't be happier!!!

Untold Treasure EGF held her own in the Classic 2 year old under class! She came out with a Blue Champion ribbon!!!

Jared Peterson went on to win a Reserve Champion in a very competitive Classic Mare Amateur Owned & Shown class!

Finally Rhyan showed her in a huge Youth Classic Mare class and earned a well deserved 4th place!

We're excited for Treasure to see what the future holds with her new owners!
