🐾💙 MEET TURBO – LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! 💙🐾

How could you not fall in love with this smiley face and those beautiful eyes?! 🥹❤️

Meet Turbo, a 1½-year-old mixed-breed boy who has spent the majority of his young life bouncing between shelters, just waiting for someone to give him a place to call home.

Turbo deserves so much more than a life spent waiting behind shelter walls. He deserves a family, a warm bed, adventures, and most importantly, someone to love him unconditionally. 🏡🐶

Turbo is currently spending time with us at Ruff Pup Canine Academy, where we're helping him build the skills he needs to be successful in his future home.

💕 If this handsome boy has captured your heart, please reach out to us! We'd love to tell you more about Turbo and help arrange a meet-and-greet.

Let's help this sweet boy finally find the forever home he's been waiting for! 🐾❤️

It's been a consistent and encouraging week with Ace! We're happy to see him settling in, becoming more comfortable and engaged with us, and showing a willingness to work for food rewards.

This week, we'll really start kicking his training into gear as we continue building a stronger relationship, establishing clear communication, and helping Ace develop a better understanding of what we're asking of him.

With Ace's history of resource guarding and behavioral challenges, we're taking our time to build a solid foundation of trust, structure, and consistency before progressing into more challenging training scenarios. We're excited to see how he continues to progress!

🐾 **Meet Turbo — Our Newest Foster & Train Pup!** 🐾

Please help us welcome **Turbo**, a handsome 1½-year-old mixed breed, to the Ruff Pup Canine Academy family! 💙

Turbo joins us through the **Napa County Animal Shelter**, with the generous support of the **Friends of Napa County Animal Shelter**, who are helping make this training opportunity possible!

Turbo appears to have some livestock guardian breed in his mix, especially judging by those adorable double rear dewclaws! 🐶

Unfortunately, Turbo has spent quite some time in the shelter system and has experienced multiple adoptions and returns. While we don't know exactly what his future holds, we do know that he deserves every opportunity to succeed in a loving, permanent home.

That's where we come in! 💪

During his time with us, we'll be working on training, structure, confidence, and everyday life skills to help set Turbo and his future family up for success. Our goal is to better understand his individual needs, address any challenges, and give him the tools to make a smoother transition into his forever home.

And can we just say... **what a SWEETHEART!** 🥹💙

We've only spent a couple of hours with Turbo so far, but he's already made a wonderful first impression. We're excited to get to know this handsome boy and see what he's capable of!

**Here's to fresh starts, second chances, and helping another deserving shelter dog become the best canine citizen and family companion he can be!** 🐾

Stay tuned as we share Turbo's journey!

Our newest Board & Train pup introduction goes to Ace! 🐾

Ace is a four-year-old mixed breed who came to us all the way from Los Angeles to work through some pretty significant resource guarding. Unfortunately, his guarding behaviors have escalated to the point of causing multiple injuries to several people, including incidents that required stitches.

Over the next few weeks, our focus will be on building clear communication, structure, boundaries, and a better understanding of what drives Ace’s guarding behaviors. We’ll work on safely addressing those behaviors while giving both Ace and his family the tools they need to move forward successfully.

We’re excited to have Ace here and can’t wait to share his progress with you! 💙🐾

We were SO excited to get a surprise package delivered today with not one, but TWO DNA test kits! 🧬🐾💙

That means we’ll officially get to find out what makes Billy… Billy! 😂 And we’ll even have an extra kit ready to use for another one of our future foster pups.

To whoever sent these our way, THANK YOU so much! There wasn’t any information included letting us know who they were from, so we aren’t able to thank you personally—but please know how much we appreciate your generosity and support. 🥹💙

We can’t wait to share Billy’s results with everyone when they come back! 🐶🧬

Help us solve the mystery of Billy! 🐾🧬💙

We would love to have a DNA test done for this sweet little guy to learn more about his breed mix, background, and what makes Billy… Billy! With those eyes, ears, and adorable little face, we definitely have some guesses—but we’d love to know for sure. 😂

The Wisdom Panel DNA test is currently on sale on Amazon for $95! If anyone would like to donate a DNA test for Billy, we would be incredibly grateful. 📦 Message us for the address to have it sent directly to us.

If you’d like to help but would rather donate a smaller portion toward the total cost of the test, please message us and we can provide donation options. Every little bit helps! 💙

And of course, once the results are in, we’ll share Billy’s big DNA reveal with everyone! 🐶🧬

Thank you for continuing to support this special little guy while we get him ready for his forever home. 🐾💙

Billy has officially started working on all the puppy basics! 🐾💙

At just 3 months old, our focus is building a strong foundation and giving him plenty of positive experiences. So far we’ve started with crate training, potty training, exposure and socialization, following lures, marker training, and his introduction to the leash.

Billy is a happy, social little guy who is eager to engage and learn. We’re excited to keep building on these skills while he waits for the most important thing of all—his forever family! 🏡🐶

Billy is available for adoption through Love’s Legacy Rescue. Please reach out if you’re interested in making this sweet boy part of your family! 💙
