Alright everyone — please read and share, share, share!!!!
✨ Herbert is ADOPTABLE! ✨
🤍Oh Herbie. We can’t wait for him to feel totally safe. He’s a quirky guy — who doesn’t love quirks — they keep things interesting!! Herbie will approach his foster family and snuggle them on the couch or in bed, then run from them when THEY approach HIM. He’ll follow you all around like a shadow, then run the other way when you catch him. What a goof! He’ll like to keep you on your toes.
🤍He is great with other dogs and enjoys doing zoomies with them. He’d benefit from at least one other dog in the home to help with his bravery. He’s met and played with dogs ~25 pounds up. We aren’t sure how he’d do with tiny dogs, but know he can’t live with cats.
🤍He’s good with potty training and when left alone. He absolutely loves playing with toys! Herbie is just 3 and a half years young, turning 4 on Christmas Day.
🤍Herbie was positive for leishmania when he arrived to us, and he’s taking his medication (Alopurinol) daily. He gets another test soon to see if he’s still positive. Remember — it can lie dormant, then become active. Herbie currently has NO symptoms, yay!! He had a break in his front right leg upon rescue, but it healed nicely and doesn’t slow him down or inflict pain.
💘We absolutely love this spotty, long legged, loving boy from 112 Carlota Galgos!!!!
