🐾 JUNE IS HOME SAFE! 🐾

This morning, we had the opportunity to help bring June home after she had been missing since 11:00 AM yesterday.

Here’s how the search unfolded:

🕚 Yesterday – 11:00 AM
June went missing from home.

🌾 Last known sighting
She was spotted near a grain bin behind the house before running into a nearby cornfield.

📞 7:45 AM – The call came in
We were contacted this morning to help with the search.

🚙 9:20 AM – Arrived on scene

🚁 9:35 AM – Drone in the air
We began working the cornfields and surrounding area with thermal. There were plenty of rabbits lighting up the thermal along the way, so every heat signature had to be checked carefully.

🐕 10:15 AM – JUNE LOCATED!
After roughly 40 minutes of searching and covering approximately 100 acres, we found June tucked away in the corn.

Her owner headed out into the field toward her, and we were able to watch from above as he made his way to his missing dog.

🏡 10:25 AM – Safely back home

One of the best parts of doing this work is hearing an owner’s reaction the moment their missing pet appears on the screen.

Hearing the relief and excitement in June’s owner’s voice when we first spotted her — and then watching him walk through the corn to finally reach her — is something we won’t forget.

After being missing for almost a full day, June is back where she belongs. ❤️

If your dog or pet goes missing, don’t give up hope. Thermal drones can cover a tremendous amount of ground quickly and search areas that are extremely difficult to see from the ground.

🐴🚁 DREAMER IS HOME SAFE!

We recently got the call to help locate Dreamer, a missing horse. After getting the drone in the air, it took us just 15 minutes of searching to locate him alive and safe in a neighboring field! 🙌
What could have turned into hours of searching on foot was quickly narrowed down from the air, allowing Dreamer to be reunited with his owner and brought home safely. ❤️🐴

Situations like this show just how valuable an eye in the sky can be when an animal goes missing. With a drone, we can cover large areas quickly and check fields, timber, creek bottoms, and other places that can be difficult or time-consuming to search from the ground.

Whether it’s a horse, dog, livestock, or another missing animal, we’re here to help.

If you have an animal go missing, don’t hesitate to reach out. The sooner we can get in the air, the sooner we can start searching. 🚁

🎆 4th of July Pet Safety Reminder 🐾

The 4th of July is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets. Fireworks can scare even the calmest dogs and cats, causing them to panic, jump fences, slip collars, or run away from home.

Before the celebrations begin:
🐶 Keep pets indoors in a safe, quiet room.
🏷️ Make sure collars and ID tags are secure and up to date.
📱 Verify your microchip information is current.
🚪 Be extra careful when opening doors and gates.

If your pet does go missing, don’t wait. The first few hours are critical.

NW Missouri Drone Pet Recovery uses advanced thermal drone technology to help locate lost pets quickly.

📞 If your pet goes missing, contact us as soon as possible. The sooner we can begin searching, the better the chances of a successful recovery.
