Our sweet Sadie is looking forward to cooling down on the lake this weekend! She loves adventure and would make a great addition- medium size, great with kids, dogs, and housebroken!

The pandas are ready to find their new homes! These sweet babies are going to make a great addition to some lucky new families! Please note that we are looking for separate homes for them due to the high risk of littermate syndrome occurring in pups who stay together. Info on how to apply below!

Breed: Possible Australian Shepherd mix

DOB: 06/30/2026

Weight: Expected to be approx 40 lbs when fully grown. We don't know their genetics because they were dumped in a parking lot.

Likes: Cuddles and playing with toys

Crate-trained/House broken: No, they are still just babies. They are currently working on housetraining but will need someone who can continue to teach them

Energy level: Medium, but we expect this could change as they grow. It is likely that they are mixed with a breed that is highly intelligent and high energy, so any adopter should be prepared to provide physical exercise and mental stimulation

Medical notes: Augie and Junie have been seen by our vets and have received clean bills of health! They have had their first vaccination, worming, and microchip. The cost of their spay/neuter is included in their adoption fees.

Requirements for a new home: These sweet pups would fit well into a variety of situations. Overall, they are curious, playful, friendly, energetic puppies. They will need training and exercise. Currently, their coats are fluffy, so they could end up with medium length hair that will need upkeep, so please take that into consideration.

Our little princess is ready for adoption!

Meet Fiona!

Breed: Dachshund Mix

Age: Approximately 1 yr old (DOB estimated 09-01-2025)

Weight: 15 lb

Likes/Favorite Things: Being close to her person, cuddles, her toy Penguin

Dislikes: Rain, being alone

Crate Trained: Yes, sleeps through the night

Fenced Yard Required: Preferred

Energy Level: Medium

Medical notes: Fiona has been seen by our vets and has received a clean bill of health! She has had all of her vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and she tested negative for heartworms and other parasites.

Requirements for new home: Her favorite place in the world is wherever her person happens to be. Whether it's curling up for cuddles, carrying around her beloved toy penguin, or supervising daily activities from a distance of approximately six inches, Fiona is happiest when she's part of the action. It is important to note that Fiona can be hesitant with men when she first meets them and does need warm up time. With a little patience, she learns to trust.

Fiona has a medium energy level and enjoys playtime, especially when she decides fetch sounds like a good idea that day. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, but if she's being honest, she'd really love to be the star of the show and have her people all to herself.

She is crate trained, sleeps through the night like a pro, and is in great health. Fiona is still working on her potty-training skills, but she's highly motivated by treats and responds well to positive reinforcement. In other words, she can be bribed... and she knows it.

A fenced yard is preferred, but more important than a yard is a family that has the time and enthusiasm to include her in their daily life. Fiona does not enjoy rain, and she is not a fan of being left alone for long periods. She's looking for a home where companionship is part of the deal.

Pandas from another mother? If you can't wait to get your hands on Junie and Auggie, check out Nando 🐼 and his brother Angus! They are both available now through our friends at Red Feather. We've been following these kids since they were born, sending leftover donated supplies from our Chiweenies and German Shepherds over to help them out. Our hope is for these boys to also get the loving forever homes they deserve. If you can't adopt, please share!

Pandas at the vet today! Auggie and Junie had a good check up and got their first vaccines and microchips. Auggie (male) weighed in at 9.5 lbs and Junie (female) weighed in at 8.3 lbs. They are estimated to be 8 weeks old, so they are on track to be nice, medium sized pups when fully grown. They've got another week to go in their intake hold and then we will be ready to start accepting applications for them! Stepping Stones is located in Winston-Salem NC. Lovethemutt.org
