With 70 Years of Experience Training All Breeds of Dogs, we have the experience and knowledge to help you get your dog trained. We offer Puppy classes for $215 and fixed schedule obedience classes for $220. Our Flexible schedule membership package includes both beginners/advanced obedience classes for 1 Flat fee of $400, this includes 20 classes, and is Valid for use up to 6 months. Our Classes ar

e for any dog 8 weeks or older, we accept All Breeds, and all class sizes are limited to 8 dogs. We have specialty classes such as Puppy, Rally, Scent Work, Service Dog, Conformation, and Competition Training. Our Curriculum includes: Heeling on a Loose lead, Auto-Sit, Sit Stay, Down, Down Stay, Stand Stay, & All Off Leash Exercises, plus the Finish & the Recall (the Come). Our Training also includes Group work, Socialization, Distraction Resistance Exercises, & the Canine Good Citizen Curriculum. We help owners correct unmanageable behaviors such as: Barking, Jumping, Resource Guarding, Anxiety, Biting, Crating, and House Training. We have 2 trainers at every class to help you individually with any problem or question. We also offer regular CGC (Canine Good Citizen) testing, CGCA (Canine Good Citizen Advanced), & Trick Dog Testing at no additional charge. The Goals of our Clientele include: Basic/Intermediate/Advanced Obedience, Therapy & Service Dogs, Scent Work, & Competition/Rally/Conformation.

🍀Throwback Thursday to 1989🍀Des Moines Dog Show 37 years ago. - With the Des Moines Dog Show starting tomorrow nostalgia is on my mind. Back then the German Shepherd specialty show was Friday night, and the All Breed shows were the next 3 days of the Labor Day weekend. I loved the Friday night lights, and I always took home the Highest Scoring/High Combined Awards in Obedience since Rally didn't even exist until 16 years later.

⭐This is my 1st dog Gretchen, she was bred from dogs we acquired while in Germany then bred to top American lines. I Loved this dog, cut my training teeth in this partnership as Gretchen was a beast of stubborn independence. Often she was "One Battle After Another" in training, but we were devoted to each other and achieved quite a career record. I was born in the dog world, and my coach was the infamous trainer Neal Leas. Miss my father every day, but every time I step in the ring, he is standing right there.

🏆Huge Congratulations to Team Zoltan on their 2 New Rally Titles- 🏅Rally Novice(RN) & 🏅Rally Advanced(RA). This team is accomplishing what most dream of and they are remarkable for a number of reasons-

🔥Zoltan is only 8 months of age and is competing off leash
🔥Team Zoltan Competed and titled in 6 straight shows achieving 2 titles
🔥They were in the Ribbons for ALL 5 legs of 6 for both titles
🔥Skipped the Rally Intermediate Level All Together!!!!!

💚Carl has 3 dogs in our Obedience/Rally Classes, and he works very hard with all of them. Zoltan is the middle child and started in our obedience classes(Puppy Class) at 8 weeks of age, then moved into our "Flexible Schedule" Obedience classes. Team Zoltan shows what consistency, engagement, and fun look like all rolled into one! Anna & I are so thrilled to be coaching them to such high success so early in their career and look forward to their future endeavors.

⚡️Look for this Team at the Des Moines Kennel Club Dog Show this weekend, Sept. 4-6, at the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fair Grounds. Carl will have multiple teams there competing in multiple levels of rally.

💚Shout out to his wife Victoria, she is their wonderful support and biggest cheerleader at practices or shows.

🏆Huge Congratulations to Simon & Violet who competed at the 4-H Iowa State Fair last week taking home 3 Ribbons!!! Team Violet competed in Obedience, Rally, & Showmanship, and had an outstanding showing for it being their very first State Fair competition. This fabulous team picked up a Purple, Blue, and Red ribbon in a very challenging competition environment, the horse pavilion.

⭐Team Violet are current clients with us in Obedience & Rally, and we look forward to watching them bloom in both 4-H & AKC future events.
