We WILL still trial if it’s a light, warmer rain. If it’s downpouring and cold temps, unfortunately we will probably be forced to cancel. Looking good so far! 👍

There will be winners photos at the end of the awards ceremony- it is helpful to have your child practice stacking their dog both on the ground and on a picnic table.

For some dogs this is a first, so it takes some getting used to and training. 🙂 Head up, tail straight or up.

Q&A: ✨

Basic Pre Trial facts that differ a bit from sanctioned adult trials.

- Dogs CAN wear an ecollar during their brace

- Parents can assist if absolutely needed during their brace but we try to allow the judges to work it out with the child first.

- Everyone leaves with something. Ribbon, placement, prizes, etc!

Work with your child on being vocal and communicating with their dog, knowing when to step in and handle or back off a bit and let the dog work. Work on their physical fitness out in the field (sometimes there is mud or hills or higher temps!) Work on their overall confidence.

Everyone has a great time overall and gets some great experience in! Can’t wait to see everyone.
