💩 LET’S TALK ABOUT WHAT YOUR DOG LEAVES IN THE YARD.

The stuff you’re trying not to step in can give you clues about your dog’s digestion. Nobody’s asking you to bring out a magnifying glass—just take a quick look before you scoop. 😂

Here are four things worth noticing:

🐾 COLOR: Does it look different from your dog’s usual?

🐾 SHAPE: Is it formed, or has that changed?

🐾 FIRMNESS: Is it holding together, unusually hard, or loose and watery?

🐾 ROUTINE: Are they going more often, less often, or struggling to go?

Healthy dog p**p is usually brown, formed, and firm enough to hold its shape when picked up. Get familiar with what’s normal for YOUR dog so you’re more likely to notice when something changes.

🚩 Call your vet promptly if you notice blood, black or tarry p**p, or diarrhea along with vomiting, low energy, or loss of appetite. Diarrhea that lasts more than a day or two also deserves a call.
