This is very true.

Most big problems with a horse didn’t start big.

Usually, there was something small we missed.

A foot that kept stepping out.
A shoulder that started drifting.
A little brace.
A place where he quit following a feel.

Those little things matter.

If you learn to recognize them early, you don’t have to wait until they turn into a problem.

A horse will usually show you where things are coming apart.

You just have to learn to see it.

After the 10.5 inches of rain, heat, and humidity, our horses are nearly being carried away by mosquitoes!
This may give them a little relief today.

Titus!
I'm still in absolute awe of this guy.
He came home July 1st from being started under saddle for 60 days. I've ridden him as often as possible when I'm home- both in the arena and our trails.
I have only tracked the miles of riding Titus while away from home.
I'm very pleased to add them up and realize that we've ridden 45 trail miles together in just over a month.
It's been great and I'm still so very thankful that we sent him to training.
Remember, it's ok to ask for help.
