Meet Theodore. 🤎

Last year, Theodore left Lop & Luxe for a home of his own. A few weeks ago, his family reached out and asked if we could take him back.

Our answer was simple:

"Yeah, for sure! We can always take a rabbit back for any reason."

Every rabbit who leaves Lop & Luxe will always have a place to return to.

No lecture. No guilt. No judgment.

Rabbits are wonderful animals, but they are also a real commitment. Life changes. Families change. Housing changes. Finances change. Sometimes circumstances are completely outside of someone's control—and sometimes someone simply realizes that rabbit ownership isn't the right fit for them after all.

We understand that.

What matters most to us is what happens next.

We never want someone to be so afraid of being judged for returning a rabbit that the rabbit ends up neglected, abandoned, passed from home to home, or surrendered because they felt they couldn't reach back out to us.

You can always message us. We will take them back.

So, Theodore came back. 🤍

He has been back with us for about three weeks now and is finishing his quarantine period in his own little room while we continue to observe him and let him settle back in.

And so far? He's doing wonderfully.

Theodore is sweet, spunky, playful, and has plenty of personality. We're currently deciding whether he will become a permanent Lop & Luxe resident or whether we'll place him with the right pet family.

If we do decide to place him, Theodore is neutered, litter box trained, and will go home with all of his current belongings.

Based on what he is acclimated to, indoor pet homes only.

If you think Theodore might be a good fit for your family, you're welcome to comment below or send us a message. He has another week of quarantine and observation before we would consider a new home, but you’re welcome to reach out in the meantime. If it’s the right fit, we can coordinate everything for after his quarantine is complete. 🤎

Few plants are as familiar in the world of rabbit forage as dandelion.

Often dismissed as an ordinary garden w**d, dandelion leaf is a well-known edible forage for rabbits. Its earthy, gently bitter character adds another layer of flavor, aroma, and texture to Meadow Mix.

We chose dandelion leaf because Meadow Mix is rooted in familiar, purposeful botanicals—the kinds of leafy plants rabbits may naturally encounter while foraging.

Supplier tested for yeast, mold, E. coli, salmonella, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury.
