Just letting everyone know because today starts a very busy weekend. I have a 9 am Dr’s appt tomorrow (Friday). It’s actually 2 different appointments back to back with the same doc. The first is the one where I definitely need to take a shower before I go. IYKYK! The dog homes will be taken care of before and cat homes as time permits. Some may have to wait until after my appointment because it will be an earlier than 4 am rise for me to get to my spread out doggy homes. I only have one other dr’s appt on the calendar, in November, for this year but I did get an email yesterday that I’m due for an eye exam. So once I make that appointment I should be through for the year. Oh, I do have an appointment scheduled for a mammogram in November also so hopefully that will be it. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ve lived at Dr’s offices the past couple of months. My Primary is making sure this old lady is in good shape.

I know I’ve been slacking on posting pics. I’ve had a lot going on with working and trying to juggle the home life and getting things done around the house since my mom’s been gone. I had therapy, ortho appt, labs and 2 vet visits last week that put me struggling doing lunchtime visits. This week I have an ortho appt with the hand/wrist doctor to see what’s next for my wrist tomorrow and then Friday morning I see my primary. Yippee! Not looking forward to that visit. Of course it’s the start of a long holiday weekend.

I now have someone (neighbor) who is harassing me for feeding the cats I’ve been feeding for 2-3 years for someone else who owns the property. She was videoing me this morning. 👋🏻 She came after me a week or so ago because a raccoon showed up and it’s all because of the cats. 🙄 Not at her house but the house I feed the cats at. Soooo! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I told her I had an opossum that lived under my building for a while. She said she was going to file a complaint. To who? Is it against the law to feed cats on your property? I talked to the owner of the property this morning and she is just as baffled on why this neighbor is so upset that I feed the cats all of a sudden. She said they were getting under her house and fighting. I asked her how were they getting under there and she said they move the screen. Then secure under your house better than with a screen that can be moved. People!! 😡😡

My uncle will be 90 yrs young on August 5th. His kids are throwing him a surprise birthday luncheon Saturday. Well, he knows he’s going out to eat but he doesn’t know the whole family has been invited. 🤫 Just know I will be there and my phone turned off. The homes I have Saturday will be taken care of before and after his birthday celebration. This is the same uncle who I took my mom to eat lunch with on Fridays and I’m still trying to keep that up. I have missed out the past few years on family things and I vowed when my mom passed away that I will start taking the time. I have an aunt and uncle who have been inviting me to eat dinner once a week with them and two aunts that eat at McDonald’s most mornings that I try and see once a week. The only ones I have to talk to are animals and even though they are very good listeners and some talk back it’s not the same.

Luca is my new boyfriend. ❤️ I met Luca and Cody a while back and I had them for one visit a couple months ago. They recently adopted Stella from the shelter so she hasn’t been spayed yet. She has an appointment in August but in the meantime she went into heat a couple days before the family left so that is why she is wearing the diaper. Isn’t she so cute. 💕

These are one of my lunchtime add ons for the week. Their human brother is away this week so they needed someone to let them out while mom was at work. Camilla to be the smallest was sure letting the neighbor hold it for laying by the fence. 😂🤣 Bubba took in some sun today while Wilson explored the bushes. Chico was doing some stretches to loosen up his joints. I feel ya Chico! Oh, and I had a little treat waiting for me that didn’t make it to the stop sign when I left. 😋❤️❤️❤️❤️

This week has been crazy. Sometimes I feel like I don’t do enough because I’m trying to get to everyone before an accident happens. You know, because I can’t tell anyone NO. I had 3 dog homes for pet sitting this week, 2 cat homes, 1 last minute cat home, my regular lunchtime crew plus 3 homes added on for lunchtime visits. I have 7 homes for lunchtime visits. I’ve been getting up at 3:30-4 am and not going to bed until after 11 pm. My van has given me problems Monday & Tuesday, I had a dr’s appointment Monday and I’m still trying to get business taken care of for my mom and myself. My boys have gone ape crazy because they are crated most of the day. There’s not enough time or energy in a day for me. So, getting a text saying this makes me feel whole and even though I’ve lost my mind at times I’m still doing it my way which is treating everything like it’s my own with the utmost respect and care like my mom taught me.

These pics were from the other day of Sage and Wilson. ❤️ I had them this week. It was raining hard when I got to them this morning. They are outside dogs 😔 so I stood over them with my umbrella so they could eat. Then there was a clap of thunder and lightning. I was so glad they were almost through because I told them I had to go. All I could think about was lightning hitting my umbrella and me dying trying to keep their food dry. 🤪
