Welp, we didn’t make it to finals by like .04 seconds, but that’s okay ❤️ we hadn’t done FastCAT in almost a year so I’m just proud of them for enduring the heat and doing their best! This is also the first time I’ve truly juggled both Danes while standing in line and handing off to randoms. Lu is crazy as ever so I’m always thankful for the strong people willing to hold her. Meatball has been such a perfect chill gentleman this whole time, you’d never know from the way he waits in line that he’s about to go tear up the track 🤣 we will be taking home a lovely DCAT title for Meaty

And don’t even get me started on the DRAMA. If you ever want drama in your life, just follow with Dog sports Facebook group. The Facebook group for invitationals this year has been going OFF. Someone posted a photo earlier this week of where they apparently walked where the runs were gonna be held and said that it was all cut down hay that was super sharp. People freaked out because of this, and some people truly chose not to come in part due to this reason. The funniest part though is that it wasn’t sharp at all and somebody went out yesterday to go check it and have a video of them walking across the grass barefoot and the pre-invitational runs are successfully going on today. The heat index is another thing for a lot of people because it is in high 90s, which does be the question of why September was chosen because it should be slightly cooler, but we all know how hot it’s been here over a year so this was a risky and weird decision. But the same time, it is hot everywhere so most dogs should be accustomed to being able to run 14 total seconds in this weather. 🤷🏻‍♀️ all that to say, it’s chaotic for so many reasons every year

Two intact male half brothers who don’t live together but get to spend intermittent weekends together. At 2 and 3 years old (right at social maturity) it’s so lovely to see them consistently get along so well.
