For many Y2K9s members and students, Winnie is their very first instructor and one of the reasons they keep coming back.
Since joining Y2K9s in 2007, Winnie has helped countless teams build strong foundations, from puppyhood through advanced training. Students consistently praise her patience, welcoming teaching style, and ability to adapt exercises to meet each dog's individual needs. Whether she's helping a puppy learn its first skills, guiding a senior dog through fitness exercises, or preparing a team for the conformation ring, Winnie focuses on building communication, confidence, and a strong partnership between dog and handler.
A longtime sighthound enthusiast, Winnie has over 20 years of experience training, showing, and competing in Conformation, Obedience, Lure Coursing, Agility, and Canine Freestyle. Her philosophy is simple: training should be positive, rewarding, and fun for both ends of the leash.
