Thanks to everyone for coming to our April 2026 Just Horsin Round Horse Show Series.

In the next couple of days, I'll have all of the High Point Winners listed for the weekend and I'm trying something new. I'm going to list all of the results of the show on our website! If anyone needs any information or results for your horse, please let me know! I'll be glad to email them to you.

Hi everyone! The Just Horsin Round Open Show Series starts next Saturday morning at 8:00 am. We look forward to seeing everyone. The show office will open on Friday at 3:00 pm. and close at 8:00 pm.

Be sure to reserve your stalls and RV spots by emailing Beth Tew at [email protected].

One thing to look at and give us your opinion of is the Purchase Class with 2 classes each day in the Saddle Seat Division. Beth gets requests all the time to add classes to the show. So as a trial - in the Saddle Seat Division only for April, we are adding the Purchase Class.

The Purchase Class is a spot that is reserved to add a class after everything has been finalized for the show. The Purchase Class will be $40 each class for the individual that wants to add a class to the show. That individual can then name the class, and it will be held in that slot. Then exhibitors can sign up to ride in the class.

Beth would like to do this in other divisions also, after she sees how this works in the Saddle Seat Division.

JHR Website is now updated!!

The 2 biggest changes in rules are:

1. Halter points do not go to the overall total of a division’s points. Showmanship (which is a performance class) will count and added to the overall division’s points.

2. If you ride with a snaffle bit, you must ride two handed. If you ride with a bit, you must ride one handed. There is no restriction on the age of the horse for riding with a snaffle or bit.

Hey - we are going to finalize the way awards are given by tomorrow.

The individuals that are suggesting that we do age awards per division - You only want a youth and amateur adult for each division, such as Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Field Hunter, Saddle Seat, Saddle Pleasure, Field Hunter and Suitability for Dressage.

We have been doing just the high point for each division - which is calculated with one horse/one rider.

The change to the 2 awards per division will double our prize budget so we have to be careful with this decision.

The smaller divisions only show on Saturday - which is Halter, Trail and Showmanship. How about those divisions - which type of awards?

Ok here’s some new info for the April show. Judge on Saturday is Pat Benton and Sunday is Sarah Wolfgang.

2 years ago we did weekend high point awards for Youth, Adult and Horse. Last year we did high point horse for each show. What high point would you like to see for 2026?

Hi Everyone! We are getting things ready for the 2026 Just Horsin' Round 3 Open Horse Show Series.

A couple of questions - We are changing a few things around and one of those things is the Trail Division. The entries over the past year have not been as high as when we started so we are considering discontinuing these 7 classes. The only way we can have these classes is to get a sponsor for the division for each show (April, June and August). Anyone interested?

Also, any ideas for Awards? We want to do some good ones but need some suggestions.

Any other things you'd like to recommend? Please comment!
