Thanks to everyone’s donations, Tansy got a nice cat tree!!! She is so happy with it! She didn’t hesitate to sniff it out and get comfortable!

A big majority of everyone’s donations went towards her life saving vet care, and what was left provided for her general care items. She is now set with dry and wet food, a variety of treats, a littler box, litter, and scooper, as well as her ESA (emotional support) certifications. I found a lot of importance in registering her as an emotional support animal to ensure that no matter where I go, she can come with me. She now has her forever home with me.

Tansy also has a lot of other gifts coming in the mail from you guys, so stay tuned!!!

After day 2, ,Tansy is recovering so much better than expected! She is eating, drinking and using the bathroom like normal; as well as starting to feel like her usual “attention hog” self. LOL.
She has a very persistent but loving personality, and I’m really happy to see her showing it again.

She has dissolvable stitches, which her body will absorb overtime as it heals. I was expecting her to need a cone while it heals, but the vets said that while they held her for those 24hours, she has not been messing with, licking or biting her incision which is really good. I genuinely feel like she knows their helping her, along with her pain medicine. Her vets said that if a cat was going to mess with any part of it, they do so very quickly after waking up post surgery. Tansy has done none of that, and continues to let the stiches do their job. I am so proud of her!

A hectic week is an understatement, but Tansy had her surgery!!!! Her vets said she did incredibly well! They said she is the sweetest little fighter who deserves the world! They were absolutely amazed by the amount of support Tansy has received from so many people! Her story and trauma broke their hearts, but was quickly restored (just like mine) knowing just how many people care about her and are willing to help! Tansy’s life is forever changed, but she is now able to live, thrive, and experience love all thanks to every effort involved. Due to the severity of her new disability, she will forever be an indoor cat now. The vets agreed that it could be different if it was a back leg (which is more common), but every potential danger is drastically increased because she’s now missing a front arm. As sad as it may seem, I’m not heartbroken by her new reality. In fact, I am eager to give her the absolute best indoor life a cat has known. She deserves nothing less! Every future effort and purchase, will continue to be sincerely thanked by everyone’s donations. I plan to follow up with her new vets to establish care, and discuss anymore possible practices that might help Tansy live with her disability (if there are any) I have more pictures and video updates coming soon so stay tuned! I still can’t fathom the amount of love, care and support she has received from everyone!

Good evening,I apologize for the slight delay in updating (work was rough) BUT the vet’s office called and Tansy has completely awoken from surgery!! The surgery went well and she is doing okay! The doc gave her some really good meds to keep her comfortable post-op. She is not quite out of the woods tonight but they will be monitoring her over night to try and make sure there’s no complications. Super early tomorrow morning they will be calling me to let me know when I can pick her up. If there’s any concerns about her current health status, they say she’ll have to stay the day also. She’s going to need quite a bit aftercare but I am totally hopeful for a good night and for Tansy to come home, tomorrow. I will update with more as soon as I see her/know more. I cannot thank y’all enough from the absolute bottom of my heart. It means so much to see that so many people really truly believe Tansy deserved life!!! Thank you for believing in her as much as we do.

Today, Tansy had another vet appointment! Tansy was seen by a Vet surgeon willing to do her amputation for a much better price than originally quoted by the first vet (I have to update Go Fundme). She needs to have her leg amputated tomorrow but we have to come up with $750.00, ASAP.

~$85.00 later, we have gotten her more pain meds to last the night/day comfortably until her surgery tomorrow. I made a ~$16.00 payment towards tomorrow’s surgery costs.

GoFund Me is currently holding the funds for this, and I am unable to withdraw anything to help with this surgery tomorrow. We are going to try and find a way to get it taken care of. It is very urgent she have this surgery because her tissue is becoming necrotic. We are now trying to race against time to keep the infection from spreading.

Tansy is Tough! She is really fighting to stay here with us. I am going to keep trying my best to get her help.

Below, I’ve included the Emergency Vet records and receipts for reasons that include:

•showing how there’s no reason to euthanize. Excluding her fracture, she is PERFECTLY HEALTHY!
•giving shoutouts to the urgent efforts made by who witnessed her and our struggle
•to show just how much we were struggling to pay this bill and save her life before 8:30am, when the overnight vets office closed and would call animal control.
•to show how sincere we are about saving this poor kitty’s life. She’s just a baby, no more than a year old, and deserves to live, heal and be loved.

She sadly not out of the woods. Today, we are gonna try and find a vet to get her arm amputated so she can live!! We are down to 24 hours of pain meds left. We gotta find a vet today that will help. Please if anyone can help,
Tansy really needs it.

Hello! My name is Chloe and I created this page in desparate need of help for Tansy.

2 days ago, 11/17/24, Tansy suffered a gruesome tragedy at the hands of some ruthless kids. What they did, left her with a severe compound fracture, leaving bones sticking out of her front left arm. She was taken to a vet, and is temporarily stable. However, she is still in grave danger without an immediate amputation. The cost for her surgery is immense, and I am unable to do it alone being a single mother.

Tansy has been failed by humanity too many times within the last 3 days (with more details in her ). However, I am hopeful that this community and beyond can help restore her (and our) faith in humanity.
If you have anything to give, big or small, you will be helping to save her life. If donations are not feasible for you, please share her story to help reach more audiences. Any efforts are greatly appreciated!
