Cats in full play mode over here 🐾🎉

We’ve learned that rotating toys is a must... if the toys stay the same, boredom sets in fast. Keeping things fresh keeps our girls engaged, happy, and curious. When we move into the new RV, you’ll have to see how we organized it with this exact thing in mind.

Right now, though, it’s all about extra playtime. Our girls can sense that change is coming (cats always know 😼), and we want to keep stress low and spirits high. More play = happier, healthier cats... and we’re not taking any chances with sick kitties.

So yes… our days now include scheduled play breaks, flying toys, and lots of laughs. Change is coming, and we’re meeting it with paws, play, and love 🐱❤️🚐

I’m pretending today is Sunday… because Sundays are clearly meant for extra rest in the form of approximately one million cat naps 😴🐾

Miss Fred, the adventurous RVing cat of ME Gone RVing Adventures, fully supports this decision. In fact, she insists on it. As the self-appointed nap supervisor, she’s already claimed the coziest spot, disappeared under the blankets, and is daring anyone to suggest productivity today.

Traveling the RV life is exhausting, you know—supervising humans, causing just a little trouble, climbing Dad like a jungle gym, and being cute 24/7 is hard work.

So if you need us, we’ll be following Miss Fred’s lead: nap now, nap later, nap again… because every day can be Sunday if a cat says so 😸🚐💤

What’s funny is how cats somehow know when change is coming. Miss Fred senses it. She can feel the shift. New smells. Less clutter. Different routines. And instead of resisting it, she leans into it—fully inserting herself into every moment.

Supervising from the couch.
Supervising from the box she just claimed as her own.

Ellie and Abby watch from a distance, choosing comfort and quiet over chaos. Miss Fred, however, thrives in the middle of it all. If there’s movement, she’s there. If there’s noise, she’s listening. If there’s work happening, she’s definitely involved.

We see travels in our future 🐾🚐✨
There’s still a lot to do before the engine turns and the wheels start rolling again. Numbers have to line up, goals have to be met, and full-time travel takes more planning than most people realize—but we see the light, and it’s getting brighter every day.

While the hoomans work hard on the remodel and hustle to make this transition happen, we’ll be right here entertaining you through our brand-new blog. After all, someone has to supervise, nap, and keep spirits high 😸

When it’s game night in the RV, the cats fully believe they are the main event… and honestly? They’re not wrong 😂🐾

Board games turn into cat seats, cards become toys, and jigsaw puzzles? Absolutely not. Those pieces would be eaten, batted under cabinets, or launched across the RV like it’s an Olympic sport.

RV life with cats means adapting, improvising, and accepting that every game night includes fur, attitude, and a feline supervisor (or two). Wouldn’t trade it for anything 😆🚐🐈‍⬛
