So far all owners seem super happy with their foals! They have been smart, athletic, and level headed! We have lesson horses, ranch horses and rodeo horses. King himself has earned in youth and adult barrels, cattle sorting competition , has been exposed to ranch roping, team roping, reining maneuvers, has assisted with ranch cattle gathering and working, trail riding, youth and adult lessons, and trail classes.

I don't know what we are going to work on more concentrated this year, due to my own health issues and limitations. But we will find our way into something he enjoys as well.

It is that time of year where you are choosing your next Sire for your future projects! We are standing him at his home location in Augusta, Kansas. King is booking for the 2023 breeding year. $350.00. $50 is the non-refundable booking fee included in the Total. mare care is additional. $10.00 a day mare care due at pick-up. OR $200.00 for 30 days FULL CARE paid at drop-off. This includes 1 ultrasound, usually to confirm pregnancy. Any additional ultrasound is $75.00. If your mare cycles and needs to stay past the 30 days so you can get the ultrasound before pick-up, $5.00 a day additional until pick-up. This is a KILLER deal for those that are traveling, can plan ahead without too high of a cost. I also would prefer if the mare comes BEFORE she cycles, so I can catch her that first round, instead of missing her ovulation. Some mares will ovulate early on and show heat 2-3 more days, and some ovulate at the end. Any mares that won't stand in full heat will need to be AI'd at Equine Surgery and Medicine. If this is needed, you will be responsible for the full cost of Collection/on-site AI. You choose if you want the Ultrasound prior or just apply. If multiple mares are cycling at the same time and need AI, cost for collection will be split among to save all parties. No more than 3 mares will be AI'd at once. All mares will be given FRESH, no suspension if bred on-site. SHIPPING is also available. King is Low volume/high concentration, so I plan on splitting him no more than 5 mares for best success. We have not shipped anything in the past as of yet, but have had him tested and have had him on-site AI with a ONE application success many times. Cost for shipping has not been determined. King trying something else than barrels. Most everything was doable. Backing barrels was a bit confusing for him.

Haven't updated King's performances lately. With covid and a new grand baby, we haven't done everything we wanted to do. But haven't even legged him up, and he is clocking bottom of the 3D and cranking up with each race. He is one of the prettiest patterned horses we have.
