Long time no chat!

I've had a few people each out to me recently so figured I'd make the announcement that I am no longer breeding. I have a few favorites that are living out their lives with me, but otherwise I will be moving into rescue only at this time.

If you ever have small mammals in need of rehoming please feel free to reach out to the page and I can be their halfway home until permanent accommodations can be made.

Rats will always be a passion of mine. However breeding is a LOT of work and stress and I started finding myself being more stressed about new litters, vetting adopters, finding time to meet, etc than excited.

I am always still available for advice, so never feel bad about reaching out. Thank you to all my past adopters. It really has been a delight. 🐀❣️

Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday season! As usual, we will be taking a holiday break from now until after the new year. This means there will be no new litters available until then. We have one rescue trio of adult females that need a home, but no pups at this time

We do have some pups on the ground, and will be updating with pictures as they grow. As expected, they are very, very cute.

People often are unsure how to play with their rats or get concerned with how their rats play with each other. Rats love to chase and pin each other, often tickling each other with quick grooming motions on each other's chest with their teeth. There will be lots of bouncing and they will take turns pinning each other.

Kicking and squeaking is perfectly ok when rats play with each other! Fluffed up fur, boxing while standing, sideways hops, b***y bumps, and constant contact with the rump are all signs of aggression and should be discouraged especially when doing introductions between unfamiliar rats. Some rats are more vocal than others, so don't panic if you hear the occasional squeak. A true fight is very easy to notice, and should only be broken up with thick gloves or by covering one of the rats with an object like a hide or igloo.

We have five males needing a new place to romp. These boys were born on June 14th and are still very rambunctious and full of energy. They must be adopted in at least pairs, though if one person has space for all of them that could be an option. They should integrate well into an existing micheif as well. :)

For $50 I can build you a double decker rat bin cage for them to live in (you would need to supply water bottle, hides, toys). Reach out if interested! These little boys are very much loved and we will be picky with placement.

New rat owners welcome! Just need to show that you've done research or be open to suggestions.

Life has been hectic these last couple months! I have a weird update for you guys: four guinea pigs need a new home.

Two females and two males. I will not home them all together, and will not separate the pairs. I am willing to meet up this weekend and am willing to deliver for a small charge. These guys are rescues from a pretty sad situation so are desperately in need of a forever home. About four months old so you'll have plenty of time with them.

1. There are no available rats at this time. However we should have quite a few in the next couple months! One litter on the ground, and a few more planned.
